Most Accurate Heart Rate Monitors

I am looking to buy a new heart rate monitor, and want to know which brand/model is the most accurate? Have you found that the cheaper models seem to be completely off?

    I have a Polar F6 and love it. You can find them on eBay sometimes. A lot of people have referenced the F4 as well. You may be able to find one at Target, ****'s Sporting Goods, etc.

    i have a timex one. i think they are all pretty acurate, seeing as how they take your age and weight into consideration. you have to keep updating ur weight on it though, as you lose... but thats a good thing.

    I bought the Polar FT7 a few months ago and recently accidentally threw away the monitor so I very quickly bought the same replacement. I love it.

    I'm a bit biased, I love my Polar Ft7, did quite a bit of research before getting it, and haven't been disappointed yet.

    Whichever model/manufacturer you decide to go with, a good idea is to go to a site like Amazon, and read through some of the user reviews prior to buying one. It may save you alot of money and unnecessary headaches!
