Last month, I was going to IHOP, so I looked up their nutrition. Yikes! I never dreamed the calorie count would be so high. I like their food, but don't especially want to use that high of a percentage of my daily allotment on one meal, so they're a VERY occasional choice for me. I know that's not the help you're looking…

If I can't wear them, somebody else can. I ditch them as soon as I'm comfortably in the next size.

It's not what I put in my oatmeal, it's what I put my oatmeal in. I make a breakfast smoothie with ½ cup light vanilla soy milk, ⅓ cup powdered milk, ¼ cup dry minute oats, ½-1 cup frozen fruit & a small banana. About 300 calories that can last me till lunch.

If it's ok, I'll just read along for a bit. (Actually, if it's not ok ... how would y'all know if I'm here or not? Hee hee)

I want to send this to my friend on here. Anybody know how I do that?

At Wendy's, the ½ size Chicken Apple Pecan salad (with everything they offer for it) is in the 350 calorie range. I consider it a perfect size and a perfect calorie count. That's my 'go to' whenever we eat at Wendy's.

Here's where My Fitness Pal and I disagree. My goal is to weigh 140 pounds. To get there, I'm eating 1400 calories -- on good days. :~þ (We're not going to discuss yesterday.) Because the calorie burns for different exercises are different for each body, and because deciding how active we REALLY are is so subjective, I see…

I'd be concerned, but if you're eating enough calories, and they're good, healthy foods, I'd be even more jealous! Make sure what you're doing is something you can keep up for the rest of your life. Diets don't work forever. You've got to actually change your lifestyle to get permanent results.

Another thing about muscle -- it takes up less space than an equal amount of fat. A pound of muscle on your body will be leaner than a pound of fat. So you look better at the same weight. Just don't over-do it. Strength training every other day will boost your fitness, weight loss, AND ego! :~)

I use Just Dance 2 and Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party. Both can be great cardio workouts. With Just Dance, you're holding a remote and get a lot of upper body. DDR uses a special mat (get the genuine Wii mat. They work better.) You do footwork with it. There are several DDR games. The Disney one is cute, but not…

I want to weigh 140 lbs, so I eat like a 140 lb woman -- which means close to 1400 calories. I don't add more calories because of the exercise I do. I've been exercising on a regular basis (5 days a week, around 1-½ hours each morning) for 9 years and still am over weight. Last year I lost 13 pounds when I added in a food…

I had a question but figured it out. Now I can't delete my post.
