I go to the gym and utilize the child care facilities there. It give me time to myself and my kids time to play with other kids. We've had to cut a lot out of our budget this past year, but our gym membership has been a keeper. It's my social outlet and we figure even if we have nothing else we can still be healthy.

When I first started going to the gym I was 201 lbs. I decided I was going to take the belly dancing class. While I was there, there were two women (probably not much younger than me), just having a good old time laughing at me. I can tell you that they hardly made it through the class and I never saw them at the gym…

I've used a Bodymedia to compare my strength training calories to my HRM. I would say the most accurate guesstimation is to log about half of what your HRM says.

I've been having anxiety/panic attacks since about a month before the birth of my son this year. I'm not sure why I'm having them, but I find that too much caffeine is a trigger. Also, I take Omega-3, a women's multivitamin and a 1/2 tsp of Natural Calm every day. It tends to get worse during ovulation and TOM. I have my…

I'm from Ohio but lived in Louisiana for a short time. I don't think they are any nicer, unless you're the right color.

I find the older I get the less I wear make up. I think it's mostly because I find that the make up gets into my wrinkles and make them show up more and if I wear eye shadow, I look like a drunken *kitten*. When I do wear makeup, it's bare minerals foundation, lipstick, eyeliner and mascara. That's it.

I don't think this has anything to do with height. It sounds like it has more to do with self confidence. I've always been short, but believe me, I'll be damned if anyone would talk to me that way and get away with it.

I like mochas. I put 2 tablespoons of Swiss Miss in and brew a cup. YUM! It's 72 calories

I'm a mommy of a 4 year old and a 7 month old. I'm 37 and working through NROL4W. I started at 201 and I'm currently at 163.5. I'm shooting for 150 lbs. The major rule I have is, if you are a man and I check out your profile before accepting (which I always do) and I see nothing but women, then I have no interest in adding…

I'm going to disagree with this. I'm almost always barefoot. I found that my problem was heel striking.

I had it for a year and I did this^^^^. I took some time off and just did swimming for a couple of months. Then I got Vibrams and I've not had it since.

I don't go organic at the grocery store, but I do buy my eggs and ground beef from a local farm that feeds the animals from their own grain and no animal byproducts. The chickens are truly free range. I watched a Modern Marvel's farm tech show awhile back and Eggland's Best's idea of free range chicken is completely…

We just make sure my daughter get protein at every meal/snack. We also get Boost to carry with us, in case we're in a situation where she needs to eat. We only let her have one of those a day.

Outie belly buttons. I think they're sexy. Oh, and Drew Carey.

I know several people who have had gastric surgery. More often than not there are serious complications. About half of them have regain most of their weight. You will lose the weight fast, but that will leave you with loose skin which will most likely develop into you having more surgeries. It's not a quick fix. Please…

HA! I'm starting Stage 4 on Monday as well. I tend to do these stages a little longer because me and my workout partner aren't necessarily consistent with getting to the gym together.

Eat it, enjoy it then move on. Next time, save the calories for it.

New Rules of Lifting for Women. Don't worry that other people will be watching. If anything, they will be impressed that you're doing such exercises. I will admit, some of the exercises will make you look stupid no matter how advanced you are. I was excited as heck when I started doing the dumbbell snatches and a trainer…

Why don't you look for some local farmers to get chicken from?

I love my Vibrams. I used to have knee pain, heel pain and shin splints when running. After I started using Vibrams, I have non of that. I wear them everywhere and for everything (except in the snow).

For me, lifting heavy is doing as much as I can possibly do for 6-8 reps. If I can do two sets of 8 then I move up to the next weight. I thought I was doing really awesome until I ran into this site http://www.exrx.net/Testing/WeightLifting/StrengthStandards.html but it did help me with my curiosity of comparing.

Sunkist or anything sweet. I'm addicted to sugar. I just don't know how to break that addiction without artificial sweeteners. Sometimes, I wonder if I really want to.

I'm in awe.

I'm 37 and 6 months postpartum with my second child. I'm looking to lose 20 more pounds. I started at 201 in 2009 and I'm 168 now. Add me if you like.
