I work in a medical office and my co-worker uses the bathroom frequently (well, we both do). But she told me about a time about maybe a year ago where the managers didn't believe that she actually had to just pee THAT frequently so the one manager would follow her and stand outside the bathroom door and listen to make sure…

Huh... Interesting stories. I've been on Depo for two years now. I love it. No periods, no debilitating cramps, awesomeness. I started Depo right before I started my "weight loss journey" or whatever you wanna call it. I've yo-yo'ed being on the Depo, but it's not the Depo's fault. I had an issue with migraines and threw…

I started Insanity when I was at 240. Just modify and take extra breaks if you need to. It still kicks your butt royally. Love it!

I can understand the defense; my mother has poor spelling and grammar, and I still love her. Regardless, I work in a medical office, and when a resume comes across my desk and the person hoping to work at my office has poor spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc., I tend to pass over their resume quickly. Sorry but, if you…

Got engaged in November 2006 - I was 19, he was 24. We were together about 5 years before getting engaged. Got married in October 2011 - I was 24, he was 29. Still together. As married, 5 months. Altogether, 11 years. And have an awesome 4 year old little boy. <3

Couldn't agree more. :drinker:

My coworkers and I have brought this up to our superiors on multiple occasions. Standing desks, treadmill desks, cycling desks, a balance ball, hand weights, a little stepper, ANYTHING - they always say no. We're only allowed to move from our desks at our designated break times or to use the facilities. And it's not like…

Thanks for the info, guys. It is much apprechiated. =)

Agreed! Love this! I was trying to say something similar to this but you said it much better! :drinker:

This. It's my motivation. For some reason, if I don't weigh every day or at least every other day, I tend to make poorer food choices or agree with myself when I want to skip a workout. I'm not obsessed with the number though, like some people may get, that's why they frown upon weighing every day. If people are okay with…

They don't list it because there's no generalized average number of calories burned for the majority of people. Get a heart rate monitor and plug it in yourself. I've been doing that with P90X and Insanity for over a year now. Very helpful.

 Agreed. Glad they're gone. :drinker:

Whoops! Double post! :grumble:

I spend Wednesday through Monday whining to my husband, "is it Tuuuesday yet? I wanna watch Sooons!" And then the whole year after the finale airs, haha. Can't wait for next episode. C'mon Tuesday! hehe :drinker:

I had this whole medium-sized response and my internet connection went out for a second right when I went to post it and I lost everything. :grumble: But about earlier, @someonelikemyself, I didn't feel like you wasted my time. And I understand what you mean about not worrying about food. It was like that in the beginning,…

I don't think it makes a difference. It was much easier for me to lose weight before my 2 pregnancies. And now, I'm a busy-body so it's difficult to get exercise in every single day or stick to my meal plan (ie sometimes my 4 year old steals all my whole grain bread for peanut butter and banana sandwiches, hehe). But I…

My hubby's not an athlete but he is a former soldier (Army). He's very conscious of his own looks, he's thin, somewhat muscular. Borderline metrosexual. I think that adds to my self-image issues (ie "he's skinny and hot, why can't I be?") He likes to look at the girls in the movies and the magazines and such too, but it's…

I gained alot of weight with pregnancy and I actually have self-image issues. I've lost 22lbs so far and I'd like to lose maybe 60-ish more, and I can't see a difference and I'm no where near happy with myself. However, my husband has never ever ever EVER said anything about my weight, he's always said loving things, and…

200 done, with 5lb weights. =)

I'm in! I don't know if I'll be able to get them all (I'm still currently sick and recovering), but I will try!

Thanks, everyone! Very helpful! I made some beef vegetable soup and half a sandwich. I feel much better now. Thanks again!

 My husband had a pair of those. He had to wear them for a little bit because he ran out of contacts and had to wait for an eye doctor's appt. They're... different.

I do P90X and according to Tony Horton, I believe 10-12 with bigger weights is to build mass and 12-15 with lighter weghts is for endurance or such. I can't think of his exact words though.

My husband was in the army and he yells at me if I baby myself when my muscles are sore. He says it's better to work through it.

Does that mean that you're taking new friend requests?

This sounds like a really good idea. Too bad I don't have excess spending money to do it with. Maybe I can spare $1 per workout. I need smaller clothes something fierce but never have any extra money to get some. Great idea, though.

bump for later... sounds awesome.

I know people are objecting. But it's not like crazy food (read: "eat only cabbage for 14 days"). It could be an interesting mix up to your routine and confuse your body/metabolism a bit and help kickstart weightloss or help break through a plateau. I know there's lots of "out-there" diets but this doesn't seem too bad and…
