two things i do to try and satisfy my cravings for sweets. i eat berries, picking up and eating each one separately like a would with a box of chocolates. 2nd, i pop a low fat/no fat greek yogurt in the freezer for 45 minutes and eat it like ice cream.

Sounds like a keeper. I am much more successful now that my wife has joined MFP. And she has really taken off. Now I do it and stay on track mainly to keep her from slipping. I don't think she is up for before vs after pictures though. Sorry.

i got my wife a JawboneUP 24 because at the time I bought it, I believe it synched best with her MFP smartphone app. She seems happy with it.

Better late than never: Will start out with goal of 180 minutes and see if I can kick it right off.

bump to get the great suggestions!

Congratulations for making it this far. And if you fall off, just get right back on. The nice thing is it is good to know its possible but you have to work at it. Be happy to friend and keep up to date on each other's "stick to itiveness"

Roast/eat as many vegetables as I can versus doing casseroles i.e., sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, homemade cranberry relish with splenda and moderation at the dessert table.

I like to throw in some spinach and put in muffin tins i can then bake into mini fritattas. I also add a wedge of laughing cow light chipotle cheese for a creamy egg white omelet.

Add me in please. Thanks for doing this!

Do you like beans? Add a few cans of kidney beans or garbanzo beans. I buy chunky salsa and cook my chicken in it. Also sauerkraut, not the canned stuff, the stuff in a jar that also has mushrooms and or carrots in it from the Polish section of the store. It's delicious and cheap in calories. Add some caramelized onions…

i take a grilled or baked chicken breast, chop it up and put it on a whole grain lavash wrap. Load on the veggies; onion, shoestring carrot sticks, tomato, lettuce fresh spinach and then mix 2 parts fat free ranch dressing with 1 part Frank's Hot Sauce. Tasty buffalo chicken wrap.

Karma is a bit** with good memory. Don't let the jerks get you down. Good for you. At least you're trying to do something good in this world for yourself and the people you love. Can't say the same for those morons.

I have two favorites both from Trader Joes. Their Lite Champagne Vinaigrette has something like 50 calories per 2 Tbsp. and the Champagne Pear and Gorgonzola has 45. They taste good too.

if they have a pollo al carbon, go for that, its usually grilled chicken breast with onions and peppers. i also get chicken en salsa or pollo ranchero but it needs to be fresh salsa. another possible option is a coctel de camaron or mexican style shrimp cocktail. I don't know the calories but these are safe bets given all…

here's what has worked for me. set a goal, how much do you want to lose by when? describe why? use this to stay focused. then start with 3 simple things. 1. journal everything you eat 2. drink your daily dose of water 3. choose the active route (take stairs, park farther away, be the first to jump up and get the phone)
