  • Work out! Im telling you exercise really does release endorphins and if you really want some chocolate or something else to eat... eat it. I try to drink chocolate milk after exercise, it gives me a chocolate fix and then the milk helps with muscle recovery...it's a win-win in my book!
  • I haven't been there since I was 14 but I remember it being an absolute blast....That's the one with the water park in the middle right?? I was in Rockhill for a softball tourney and my whole team and sister team went there for a day. Top Gun was my favorite but I think it's been renamed since then (that was 12 years ago)
  • I will hop off the scale and smile for a moment. Then I will begin yelling profanity at my scale : Who's my bi**h , that's right your my bi**h!!!! Now what scale!!! lol
  • I am the same here as i am anywhere else. I can be sweet, preverted , funny and blunt all at the same time. The only place where I am not my normal self is work, because I tend to deal with hard headed customers who just don't listen.... I try to fake it till I make it, but It's not always that easy....sometimes you just…
  • I'm on week 3, the first day of week 3 my body hated me the second time around I finished with no problem. I do find that for me it is easier to do it outside than on the TM, I tend to watch the time on the treadmill and think to myself omg, that was only 5 seconds lol.

  • There is no such thing as no strings attached, someone always ends up hurt. Consider this, If he is such a great guy then why wasn't it you that he was dating, you were legal at 18. Why is he married to someone else if your connection is so strong? Every "positive" thing you have to say about your relationship with this…
  • SW - 251 lbs Week 1 - 249 Week 2 - 246.4 Week 3 - xx Week 4 - xx Total lost - 4.6lbs
  • Honestly I had mine done when I was 16 and I didn't feel anything more than a pinch from the clamp, it didn't hurt at all... Getting my second hole in my ear hurt more than my BB.

  • Sodium was a biggie for me, I mean I knew you retained water but I didn't fully realize the impact it has on your weight. Also hydration, I never really drank much at all unless I was playing ball because I never really felt thirsty. I didn't realize I was mistaking hunger for thirst all along. And finally sleep, I never…
  • I also use my HRM and have created my own exercise in the system so I can log minutes and calories.

  • You don't have to cut out everything, maybe start with small simple swaps that the family will still eat and just watch your portions until you settle into a routine. Invest in a set of measuring cups they are a great tool and really help you stay in check with portion sizes. Also, google portion sizes if you dont want to…
  • I need to lose 90 at least but I have already dropped 1/4 of that so I'm not too far away from only needing to lose 60 more...feel free to add me if you like.
  • IMO and I usually have an article to back this up but I am at work and unprepared, I would say stick to your calorie goal provided by MFP or whatever guidelines you are following. If you feel you need to eat more, treat it like any other day and throw some exercise in to counter balance the extra eating. Remember exercise…
  • I know this is all common sense but common sense isn't always so common...this is very well writte, thank you for sharing!
  • I got my Polar FT4 with chest strap for around 60 at a sporting goods store, im sure they are listed cheaper online. Its actually comfortable and other than the fact that I put it there, I really don't notice it. As far a size goes, my band goes from m to xxl with plenty of room for adjustment. I love it ! No fuss no muss…

  • Im wondering the same... I can touch my fingers together with ease around my wrist so I'm guessing I am a medium frame. At 5'11 two websites including the self one included in this thread have told me I should weight between 155 and 160.... I don't even think my weight will go that low without seriously losing muscle, I…

  • Womenshealth.com .... there are tons of free exercise routines including yoga and body weight programs. I love this site and use it whenever I need a switch!!!
  • Take measurements too, I noticed inches were coming off faster than lbs.... Also keep in mind this isn't an exact science, it's not a one size fits all and sometimes you have to play with your calories, believe it or not you have to eat to lose. There are other posts on this same topic as well, try searching for them and…
  • I noticed my face thinning out around 10lbs down and I noticed a difference in the rest of my body around 20lbs down. This is a process and everyone is different, we didn't gain overnight and we wont lose it that quickly either... Stick with this, check out the success section of the posts, this works you just have to be…

  • I got Rachel Stevens, Brande Roderick and Hayden Panettiere.... not so my IMO....lol but apparently there is a chick running around town who could pass for my twin. She even went to USF with me according the guy at Einstein Bagles who always used to ask me wasn't I just there... I have yet to see her, I just know that she…
  • When you eat carbohydrates, your body stores them as glycogen in your liver and waits for your body to use them as fuel. When performing an aerobic activity, like walking or running on a treadmill, your body has the option of using glycogen stores or fat stores. The problem is that your body won’t use any fat stores until…
