My favorite ice cream is pistachio almond. Then cookies and cream.

I have found IF to be a great method for me to stop eating just to eat. When I would eat breakfast, there would always be an offer of food at lunch, and an expectation at dinner, and skipping breakfast and delaying lunch helps keep my calories lower, and typically, I crave healthier foods because my body tells me it NEEDS…

I am 5'3", short-waisted, and my legs are "normal size" (long for my height, but inseam = 31 1/2, which is around average for pants styles"). i would say front on, my top and middle look almost the same width, with my hips and thighs being bigger. My measurements are 38-30-42. IIRC, in high school I was 36-26-38, so I have…

Yeah, I don't think a lot of people realize that working from home means you work more hours/days, it isn't "fun" or "awesome" except being able to do chores during break.

I have gotten to where I don't eat, but THINK about eating a lot. I think it's worse for my soul than if I ate more.

Ask your doctor and get a professional opinion? Obviously the general population have many conflicting opinions, and it would probably be better to discuss health with a professional, even if they provide you with the BMI chart.

I would say keep the setting at sedentary because MFP tends to over-estimate how much is burned with any activity, and it's all just a bunch of averages anyway. The average woman at X height and Y weight will burn Z calories per day at A level of activity. MFP calculates too high a burn for me (whether due to my activity,…

Average it all out to 2115 or 2200/2000, it's your choice. If you start gaining (other than normal water weight/waste fluctuations), then cut back on calories or do more activity until you have a better feel for maintenance.

Best you can do is plan ahead so your emotions/nerves don't cause you to grab high calorie bombs. Bring frozen meals, pre-made wraps, salads, etc, so that you can reach for that. It may take some effort to make sure you plan it out, but if you're at the store, you can grab this stuff just as easy as a pizza.

I gain about 3-5 lbs, and I also tend to eat more during TOM.

I have to have a diet soda with some meals. It's just a taste thing.

Oh and when we would eat out, I really had to eat everything, because it was supposedly expensive and they said they wasted their money otherwise.

Being forced to eat when not hungry was miserable. I would get sick eating breakfast so early, so making me eat it was pointless because half of the time I threw it up anyway. Making me sit there until I ate all of my dinner. Sometimes I would sit until bedtime, then they would relent and allow me to sleep. I just didn't…

I rinse my hair in the sink if dry shampoo just isn't cutting it.

So when you see your weight go up, how much do you "allow" yourself before you start taking steps to lose again?
-
Start slow, and don't do anything drastic. It may make progress slow, but it's more sustainable.

So I had this long post all written out and thought, that's a lot of personal info., so here goes again: I have an unhealthy relationship with eating. I'm working on it. I suggest that you seek whatever help you are comfortable seeking. *hugs*
