There is and their isnt, it all depends on how you look at it. Once you get to low of calories your body will start to burn your muscle along with fat tor fuel and that is what i consider starvation mode but many others dont. and yes if you are that low on cals you will be burning your muscle at 400 a day so make sure you…

Your body does not view your nutrient intake within the context of individual food items. There is no such thing as a food that is inherently “good” or “bad”

Weight loss ins not linear, so if you dont lose a lb every week dont worry to much. As for the sugar, avoid pre packaged or processed foods. they contain the most sugars, if you can make yourself some smoothies at the house with a bit of fruit ice and maybe splenda. Sugars always the hardest thing to kick cause its in…

Forums are pretty solid, there are some people on here who seem to have no tolerance but they are few and far between

I love to lift, its the best stress reliever
-
1.- Trainers are expensive and unless you can afford one a good alternative would be to hit up some of the guys in the gym for pointers 2.- Curls are not useless but its an isolation exercise and as a beginner you should really focus on more compound lifts 3.- Dont buy into the fad of "Buy this and gain 7 lbs in a week"…

Im not sure how your metabolism is damaged. Your body is an amazing thing and it can adapt to various situations and chances are your fine.

It all depends on your goals, i never ate back exercise calories but it is important not to go to far under your BMR

Awesome!! My grandfather was in the royal army. Good luck on your journey feel free to add me

Im gonna throw this out there and say 1200 is to low but it seems like that wont change your mind soooo... Green tea, helps suppress appetite

Eating back exercise calories isnt bad. MFP has it set to lose weight so any extra exercise is just icing on the deficit cake.

WOW, i only take protein. Once i go on a cut i will take BCAA as well

Your body does nutrient partitioning on its own, when you get to a low enough BF % for males its usually around 10-12% not sure on females. If you are going to bulk and are unable to make newb gains then .5lb of muscle a week is at most is what is achievable.

You cant discount alcohol as calories, i have beer and i count it. Its mostly carbs
-
If you eat less sugar which is a carb which equals 4 cals per you eat the same amount of protein which is 4 cals per. The only other is fats which is 9 cals per.
-
I was in the exact same position, got fat - became skinny then had to fight with myself to bulk. Eating excess was ify but once you get going you notice minimal fat gains. Do a clean bulk lift heavy weights and you will be fine, you will gain some fat but that comes with the territory.

If you are new to working out then chances are you went to hard right out of the gate, good news is your young and your body recovers at a good rate. Like posters said above you need to take breaks between workout days and spread your body parts out so you do not overtrain a muscle group.

Im always up for new friends feel free to add

You can still do cardio you just have to eat a surplus, i dont do cardio cause i would need to up my cals alot and it seems you may as well. I would cut down the cardio to 3 days and lift the remaining 4.... EAT EAT EAT you will need to be in a surplus. If you are new to lifting then stick to compound lifts
-
If your low on time id say prepare everything before bed. Follow macros so you can freely choose what you eat and go from there. Its hard to make a meal plan that you follow day in and day out, i get so tired of eating chicken everyday that if i had to do it id shoot every chicken in existence.

You will lose muscle mass during a diet no if and or buts about it its that simple, you can slow it down by lifting, getting enough protein and enough BCAA's. If you are looking to lose muscle (dunno y you would sounds crazy) then go on an extreme diet, drop your cals by a crap ton, your body wont get enough energy from…
