I weigh every morning just because it kind of helps me gauge if I did well the day before or if there is something I probably should not have done/eaten. I only log my progress on Satutdays though.

A coworker of mine was on that diet. Thank goodness she did not stick with it. You are only supposed to eat about 500 calories a day on it. HCG is a pregnancy hormone, not sure exactly what it is supposed to do, my opinion is the weight lost comes from starving yourself. Definitely not healthy!

I agree, you don't want to hurt yourself. I'm sure there will be at least one person there that won't mind showing you how to use the equipment. It seems like they have almost everything on the internet now, so maybe you could find some videos on how to use the equipment also.

I'd say yes too. If you are not feeling well you should skip exercise and give your body some rest. You should eat too, as long as you don't go way over your calorie goal.

I had a friend that got some very rude comments about her diary from people that thought she want eating enough which made her decide to change hers to private. So, no embarrassment about overeating is not the always the reason.

Awww, that's sweet. I didn't even get a phone call :grumble: . I guess the day is not over yet though. My coworkers brought in cheesecake, cookies, and cupcakes for breakfast, but I didn't eat any of it. I was very proud of myself because cheesecake used to be my weakness.

I agree, C25K is great! I am on my 4th week of the program and I am really surprised how much longer I can run now. It's a nine week program though, so you'd only be about halfway through on March 1st.

I agree with the others, those things scare me. I'd do it the old fashioned way. Much safer, and in the end you can take pride in the fact that you did it all through your own willpower.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think when you wake up in the morning you are just really hungry because you haven't eaten for a few hours. I don't think that would qualify as being in starvation mode.
