I switched from eating white bread, flour, rice etc. to eating only whole wheat, sugar free bread, whole wheat flour, and brown rice. I think that has helped me a lot. My blood sugar is usually under 90 in the mornings.

I agree. i finally got the junky stuff out of my system, I feel like if I "cheat" I might get hooked on the stuff again. Plus, I feel a whole lot better now that I'm not eating it.

You are definitely right. I like fruit, but I try to limit them because of the sugar. I don't really like most vegetables, but I am trying to work them in slowly. I read an article that said most of the time we don't like tastes when they are new to use, but if you keep eating that food regularly you will start to like it.…

Man, it really stinks what they pass off as food these days. Just to save money I guess. It just enforces the fact that we really need to the label on everything we buy now.

I think the walking is a good idea for starters and you can work your way up from there. Also, you could put on some music and dance around the house with your daughter, you'll both have fun and you'll burn some calories too. :smile:

I usually eat three meals and two snacks. It just seems the foods that I end up gravitating to end up not having enough calories, I guess. I think its possible. I also do Tae-Bo but, don't have a HRM either. The number of calories burned in other calculators I have seen online are about the same though. I think it is going to depend on which tae bo workout you were doing too, some of them are harder than others.

Hi, today is my second day on myfitnesspal, it is great isn't it? The greasy, sugary, bad for you stuff is more easier to find than the healthy stuff.
