Hey its my first day at trying a ketogenic diet and the idea of being able to eat fatty meats and cheese sounds amazing. Still have a lot to learn and probably a tough time weening of the carb cravings but looking forward to seeing results. Always welcome a friend add as long as your going to be positive about my choice.

I see this question all the time about mfp says this and tdee says that but when you think about it there both right!!!! MFP doesn't ask for your energy consumption that you lose though exercise yet it does recommend to eat your exercise calories back. TDEE calculators ask for everything as a total including your exercise…

Are you benching on a flat or incline bench? like said previously I've never felt my shoulders interfere with my bench press and my shoulders are my weak point. Have you ever injured your shoulders?

Depends on your bf% bmr and your daily activity but sounds like you should be eating more as im 176 lb 5'11" and eating 1900 cals and still losing about 1lb a week even eating my exercise calories back.

Unfortunately you cant spot reduce, the best we can all do is tone or build muscle and reduce overall bodyfat to change our shapes and body composition.
