I want to answer the OP but I'm stuck on the avatar ... is that your nipple hanging out? It isn't ... it is ... it isn't ...

I log it as 20 minutes

I don't think that would be too much ... 30DS works better IMO with a rest day in there. I'm of the mindset that as long as you are doing SOMETHING you are going to get results. good luck!

For me, I know that when I weighed 160 (a long, looooooong time ago), I looked anorexic. 175 is when I start to look skinny. I'm 5'8" and built like a linebacker ... large frame, wide shoulders, zero hips and butt. have you read this? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/937712-in-place-of-a-road-map-ver-3-0 The…

I'll tell you at the end, ha ha! I feel stronger and I've lost back fat. My arms look more toned and I have more endurance.

especially since she only does about half the exercises herself while yelling at poor Natalie when Natalie cheats.

I found myself enjoying day 1. Day 2 was HARDER than day 1 and day three I wanted to die. But it got better after that! Keep it up! Don't quit!!

first thing in the morning after waking up and using the washroom :) Also randomly throughout the day. I now know that my heaviest is around 4pm and my lightest is first thing in the morning. Sometimes I do it right before bed and then I know whether the scale will go down in the morning or not. I used to log weight loss…

I thought breaks were "wrong" but for me, they are RIGHT! Take a rest day. Go for a walk or take a class or just go ahead and take the whole entire day OFF. It's okay. I promise she won't come into your home and hurt you for it. ;)
-
Level 1 has three "circuits." Do all three. Do it for 10 workouts (not necessarily 10 days in a row. And if by day 8 you are bored and can do it, go ahead and move on to Level 2). good luck!

Carrying a child on your hip isn't the same as lifting the child up, putting the child on the floor, lifting the child up over and over again. ;) I'm sure you could change the 50 lb water cooler water bottle at work but would you use that as your weight? :P

well I don't and it's worked out okay for me so far. I don't want to be "stuck" having to eat what I said I would and it gives me some flexibility ... if I end up going out for lunch, I know I need to have a small calorie dinner to make up for that (or whatever)

three here ... 6, 4, and 2 in 2 weeks
-
you look great - keep up the great work!

oh, and I forgot to add ... I started walking in Jan, added a zumba class in Feb, and started ds30 in March. It's tough to find time to myself, but I have to make time and put myself first!

Hi, I have three under 6. Feel free to add me. I log in every day and am looking to lose another 30ish.

I've been doing the 30ds for the past 9 days straight and the warning IS there. It's on a blue screen, right after the liongate, before the ads start up for the biggest loser. You can't skip past them. Then there is a 2 minute "recommendations" lecture from Jillian you ALSO cannot skip past. So this thread is a bit…

I do a teaspoon of brown sugar, cranberries, and cinnamon. I also do raisins, walnuts and a splash of cream I recently bought some apple butter and am going to try that next. When the summer comes, it will be berries, cherries, etc. You also could try some honey.
-
the thing about zumba is ... the first class, you feel soooooo stupid. But I tried it twice and got hooked. I love it now. If I can't get to a class, there are plenty of videos online so you can do it in your kitchen. the most important thing is ... even if you can't do the move the way the instructor can, just keep…

I log in everyday. I'm not always great about commenting, but I do offer support when I get a second. Feel free to add me.

I had to quit cold turkey but once I did, I haven't looked back.

I like: raisin bread toast eggs with cheese turkey sausage cranberry orange muffins (homemade) small banana steel cut oats with walnuts and cranberries Not all on the same day, obviously :) I never, ever eat cereal for breakfast. I always try to have protein at breakfast.

I don't have ONE momentous turning point, but I did wake up on New Years Day with norovirus. Vomiting for three days really helped jump start me :)

I have a similar timeline. I lost 18 in January, 8 in February, and only 3 in March. I think it's part of the diet cycle where you cut out all the bad foods so you see a BIG drop at first, but then as you keep going, there's nothing bad to cut out anymore! I have had only ONE cheat day since Jan 1, so I know it's not…

you could use this: http://www.prohealth.com/weightloss/tools/exercise/calculator1_2.cfm?emptyfield=weight there's a "playing with kids" choice. I would sort of underestimate the calories, though. I don't count those, don't count cleaning, and don't count things like going grocery shopping; that's just part of my daily…

I'm on day 7 today. The tops of my thighs STILL hurt when I do it. I have to modify some of the jumping things due to bad knees. And although I do the first set of pushups on the floor, the second set of reps is always up against the wall for me. Still, I'm loving it and I'm glad I'm doing it. I start level 2 on Thursday…
