52 lbs in 5 months, and maintaining that loss for the last 2 months. Went from an XXL to a M, from an 18/20 to a 10/12 ... so yeah, I'd say it works.

you look better than me at 167 and I weigh four pounds less than you! GO YOU!

I'm 5'8" and have been "stuck" at 163 for the past two months. My original goal weight was 160, so I'm pretty close. But I still have a big, floppy belly, so I think 150 might be reasonable if I really, really, really worked for it ... except that I don't really want to. I look good in clothes, people tell me I'm "skinny"…

I switched to Fiber One 60 - only 60 cal in a serving (1/2c) and I feel FULL after eating it I switched from 2% milk to almond milk and save 100 cal in an 8oz serving. If I want something sweet, I reach for some pitted cherries, which only have 100 cal in 20 of them. The more I eat, the more satisfied I feel. If I have one…

success story here! I'm down 52 lbs in 6 months and feel a TON better ... clothes fit better too. I didn't read the whole thread, but you should google "strawberry shape" ... there are plenty of advice columns about what to wear, what is flattering on us, and what is not.

come on ... it is fun!

just keep doing what you are doing. Stay away from alcohol and high sodium foods. Drink your water (take your body weight, divide it in half = #oz you should drink in a day). good job on the loss!

you look great!! What are you doing to tone your abs?

you should definitely slow down. I've been doing the c25k, am in week 7 and don't run faster than a 11 minute mile (5mph). (I'm actually usually slower than that ... 12 or 13 min/mi). Also, think about your breathing. At a fast pace, it should be breathe in two, breathe out two. It is summertime. At what time of the day…

me! I'm 5'8" and 164 ... I would love to get to 150ish. Feel free to add me!

thank you!

I've been lazy about doing ripped in 30. It's just not motivating me and I've been half assing my way through it. Consequently, the scale hasn't moved. I'm only hurting myself.

great list!

I had been doing C25K with time instead of distance for the first three weeks and switched to distance for the W4D1 ... I knew I wanted to do that, because my 5K is now a month away so I wanted to make sure I could do the distance. I rocked that bish. I am SO FREAKING PROUD of myself. I kept repeating: you are not going to…

I would stay in week 5. I think the universe was telling you something when you accidentally picked it!

*nvm, you got the photo to post good job on the loss! The weight I am today is the MOST I ever want to weigh again!!

I lost 10 lbs and was proud of myself. I lost 20 lbs and expected others to be able to see it. They didn't. I was a little miffed. I lost 30 lbs and felt great but it was only family who commented. I could see it, they could see it, was everyone else blind? I lost 35 lbs and then coworkers started commenting. I posted a…

one of my worst moments was going for a third hamburger in front of my family. I was completely out of control and hated myself.

I don't think you are "sedentary" at all. You exercise, you move, you walk. I'll call you "lightly active" without knowing anything about your workouts. Your internship ... I would log that as walking and choose a slow pace, like the 2.5 (leisurely) walk. Even though you are carrying things, stopping and starting ... it's…

I got stuck at 193 for two weeks too ... that was super frustrating. (I've since moved past it, but man it was FRUSTRATING). My current schedule looks like this: Monday: ripped in 30, c25K Tuesday, ripped in 30 Wednesday: ripped in 30, c25K Thursday: zumba (sometimes pilates after, but not always) Friday: ripped in 30,…

yeah, I started in Jan on the 1200 cal diet, like everyone else and man that sucked. Did a lot of reading, figured out my TDEE, upped my cal and never looked back. You CAN lose weight eating more than 1200 calories. thanks for all the compliments, everyone. I still have 25 to go and a lot of belly toning, but I'm smaller…

I started this thread and today I have two more: 1. I can run for 100 seconds without stopping!!! That is HUGE considering I'm not a runner, never have been, and never wanted to be. 2. I can fit into size 12s. Granted, they are old navy, but still. TWELVES!

thank you for this! I am encouraged that it is low imact
