I have a fitbit and a Polar FT4 HRM....I use my fitbit to track my steps all day long...I only wear the polar when working out. HRMs are good for a more accurate calorie burn when your doing cardio. My fitness pal and fit bit are linked....so when you add in your calorie burn from your HRM reading you do not double up on…

Hey I started yesterday too...I did Cardio 1 and work out 2 this morning (normally I am at work now, but had to stay home today, so I did them together). Good luck today and for the next 88 days :)

No it is a Mio watch HRM....I do have a Polar FT4 on order...so I guess I will have to wait to see if it is more accurate...it has a chest strap...thanks for your info!
