It IS possible to stay around 1300 calories on LCHF, my calorie target for the day is 1360, if I don't work out, I rarely ever eat that much. I do 1360 a day, and 5 days a week in the gym. Nothing seems to be working.

I say the pred is a double edged sword, it works well at what it does, in my case it keeps my lungs from acting up too badly, but it is also a vile substance which wreaks havoc on the rest of your body. I have been on it for three years straight. I am going to talk to my Dr about lowering the dosage.

In the end, no one forces anyone to pick up the box of sugar cereal and put it in the cart. Do they make it look pretty, taste good, easy to see in it's prime middle shelf location? Yes. But no one forces you to buy it. There are eggs right down the aisle to the left, and they are cheaper.

Oh...I will say that visually I am getting smaller. I, of course, only measured my waist, which has lost two inches, but I seem to be losing from odd places like my rib cage and lower thighs and arms.

I had mine done a year and a half ago. It measured me a 1768. I have no idea what to do with that number, since I don't seem to be losing on 1360.

After not even being able to do 5 minutes on the elliptical three months ago, I am now up to 30! And was able to increase the weight on three different sets of weightlifting :smiley:

I have posted a couple times in the general forums about exercise, never had anyone say I couldn't/shouldn't/didn't even when I stated that I am keto. They were actually quite helpful, except for one, and he's one that's known to be a ....not nice person.

Finally I saw one I couldn't deny! I have my blood drawn often...at least once a month. I was always embarrassed by how far into the arm flab that damn tourniquet would cut...and it always hurt so bad. Today....barely any cut in and it didn't hurt nearly as bad!!!

Heart palpitations are nothing to mess with. Low potassium can cause them, but so can a host of other things that need checked out. Please get checked if they don't stop soon.

I lift and have not had any issues past the first couple of weeks. My work outs are not intense by most people's standards but for me they are. I don't know if that's why I haven't had any issues lifting while in keto.

Eh...I didn't order it. Was going to be cheesecake, and it would not have even put me over 40g for the day. It just didn't seem worth it. I have been doing keto for a couple months at least, but the thought of wanting it all the time again was not pleasant.

What would a "cheat item" do, do you think? Not a whole meal or whole day...but one item, like a dessert? (Sorry, am wicked stressed and pmsing and staring at a dessert menu as I type this, I am away from home at a hotel with none of my go to snack items)
