NROLFW book said not to bring them together at the top... I cant remember why... but I do mine just like in your first illustration, I don't form a Y, I just go straight up and don't let them touch at the top

My name is Cory, I'm 35 yo, with 25 more pounds to loose, I started this last week lifting 2 days/wk (Tuesday and Thursday) at the local YMCA. I'm also doing C25K on my off days (M, W, F), and doing family activities on Sat and Sun. :) Feel free to friend me! :flowerforyou:

thanks, the picture I was looking at was a swiss ball plank, lol.. i will kill myself with that one but i just did the crunch and it was not hard at all.. in fact i did 10 instead of 8, perhaps my form wasn't right. i will have a trainer help me next time. :wink:

or go to bed early with the kids and wake up and hour earlier than normal to get your workout out of the way, that's what I do. :yawn: it's hard at first but it will become habit if your consistent.. if there's a will there's a way...good luck!:drinker:

I just started workout A (day one) on Tues, and OMG tonight I'm suppose to do lunges??? The fronts of my thighs are killer sore!! I don't know if I can do it... ? Someone said that once you get in there and warm up that it's possible, but I struggle to walk up an incline right now. should I wait another day?

What should be my protein goal if I lift weights 2 days a week, cardio 3 days/wk, goal to loose fat/weight? Currently at 1500 cal per day + exercise calories.

awesome! i know you said carrots and beets aren't good frozen.. what else shouldn't i freeze? i think i remember my mom saying you shouldn't freeze cooked meat.. but i have put spaghetti sauce in the freezer before....

ok, I don't know if we like Couscous or not, but I'm willing to give it a shot! and hummus, I've had it once I think I liked it ok. So yea, this is good stuff. Thank you! Is the homemade corn chips that much healthier than the ones in a bag??

OP I understand... I have this same problem. I've made it the night before but most of the time I walk out that morning with my hands full of keys, kids, phone, purse, shoes...CHECK! I usually forget my dang lunch :frown: I have gone to the grocery store say on a Monday and just bought my lunch for the week and brought it…

I just finished W3D1.. I was worried about 3 min runs but I slowed down to 5 and did fine, feel great, no complaints! :happy:
