  • Aww shucks. I've had pretty abysmal upper body strength my whole life, it has surprised the hell out of me that I've made so much progress on benching since starting SL. I am also 5'10" and weight about 250, so putting up 100 is not even close to body weight for me lol.

  • From my experience with guy friends, they sometimes have no idea how tall they really are. I've had a few male friends insist they were 6'0" even though I'm taller than them (and not 6'0") or even 5'9" when they're clearly like 5'6" or something. I think they're in denial.

  • Some gyms have smaller bars that are preloaded with weight. They aren't as long as the oly bar but I imagine they'd work, They usually reside together on a slanted rack thingy. I think my gym has them starting at 25 pounds up to 75 pounds. I'm just not sure on the increments.

  • I've not ever been pregnant so I'm not sure if this will helpful or fit into the rules of healthy pregnant eating, but when I'm crazy hungover (lol) and can't keep water down, I make pedialyte with the powdered mix and water, then mix that with sprite. Its sugary but it helps me with the dehydration factor. Good luck!!
  • I highly recommend Enell bras.. They're expensive and ugly but dang do they work. titlenine.com has lots of good other choices too. Before I could afford an enell I wore an old regular (underwire) bra with a regular sports bra over it. It worked, just wasn't the most comfortable.
