  • I'm 24 and don't feel old at all. As for the hourglass/ pear shape. Don't let that stop you from losing weight. I was hourglass up until I had my son (hips spread when you get pregnant and never went the whole way back). So my booty is a bit bigger and I'm a bit "hippier" then I was before. Guess what you embrace it. I…
  • Once in awhile isn't going to hurt you. Don't like it, then don't drink it.
  • I learned usually where you want it to come off first is usually where it comes off last. I feel your pain because I hate my legs, I think they are huge. Just keep working out and eating healthy and you will get there. GOOD LUCK :flowerforyou:
  • Yeah I understand its not magic, I ate healthy when I wasn't doing the workout (lower calories then when I do the workout though). I didn't workout though, I'm not really worry about the weight coming off (I know that will follow) I'm more worried about the conditioning it does. I will just start where I left off though. I…
  • Nice job! Looking good. :flowerforyou:
  • I have a cold and I'm taking this week off. I think mainly do to my 2 year old having it also so I'm extra tired from dealing with him. I can't get "extra" sleep either since I'm always up with him. I try and do as little as possible when I'm sick. Feel better soon. :flowerforyou:
  • Right whatever works for you, I just find the OP to be a bit off. Everyone is different and likes different things for their diet. I just don't think dairy is SO bad for you that its going to cause stuff on her list.. or cancer for that matter.
  • You are right, I wasn't saying that people need dairy. I never said that. I said I FEEL BETTER WHEN EATING DAIRY. So whatever "proof" the OP has is not going to effect the way I eat.
  • You do know I'm saying dairy, not just milk. I went years with any dairy products, my doctors never explained to me how to eat without dairy so I ended up missing out on a lot of nutrition I needed. That is why I felt bad. As soon as I started adding dairy products back into my diet I started to feel better. I KNOW you can…
  • Did you not just say some of the things in dairy could have made me feel better? :grumble: I don't really care what you have to say, it was clearly what I was missing from my diet. You are one of the people that is "DAIRY IS BAD"... go ahead go without dairy but it is something I need in my diet.
  • I'm calling bull on this. Sorry lady but I went YEARS without having any dairy and felt like complete crap. I was told I was lactose intolerance (they were clearly wrong, I know that now.) Once I started eating cheese and drinking milk I felt 10 billion times better. Have fun not eating dairy.. I really don't care what you…
  • I love Stevia, it took me a little to like the taste of it but I use Truvia all the time for my coffee (and fruit, ect) now and doesn't taste weird or funky at all.
  • Wow you are very pretty. Congrats on losing the weight. :flowerforyou:
  • I completely agree with you. My chin has pretty much gone away, along with my boobs. My butt and stomach just hate me and are staying put. Sorry OP I don't have pictures at this time
  • Same, I use it for cooking and my cast iron pan. Besides that I swish it in my mouth for 5 mins then rinse my mouth out and brush my teeth. It helps make teeth whiter and gums healthier. :flowerforyou:
  • Probably not withdraw from sugar. I don't think I ever shook to the point of worry when cutting out gross sugary foods. Caffeine withdraw, yes I shook. Did you cut out caffeine? Do you have a lot of stress? I shake really bad when I'm stressed out too. Only probably I could see with the sugar idea you have is low blood…
  • I also say learn to cook. Really its not that hard, grab some cookbooks and follow the directions. Its the best way, and then you know what is in your food. I do love my slow cooker when I'm being lazy.
  • Well good luck with Insanity. Don't worry about the scale too much. Also I hear the 2nd month is when the fat just falls off. I'm starting week 3 tomorrow, I'm really excited to finish my first month.
  • I'm doing Insanity now so no after pictures yet. Did you finish Turbo Fire? I was think of doing that after Insanity.
  • Its great you want him healthy, but also he is a kid. If I think back to what I ate growing up, it wasn't always the best food. But I ran around all day so I wasn't overweight or anything. Maybe take some of his favorite food and prepare them in a healthier way. There isn't much you can do about your Mother bring junk food…
  • I was up to 2052 (or around there) but it felt like to much food so I downed it to 1843. Much better. I'm not hungry and I haven't missed a day. I feel if I eat less then that I would be too weak to keep it up.
  • You can find healthy food anywhere. Farmer's markets are nice because you get a deal on fresh fruits and veggies, some of them have good meat too. I shop anywhere I can get to, Wal-mart, Giant, whatever. Good luck!
  • Was just going to link that, even 1200 is to low for Insanity. I would be starving.
  • First of all don't look at your scale while doing Insanity, it will drive you nuts. PLUS be thankful it moved at all I'm on week 2 and its not moving much. But I look and feel different so who cares what the scale says. Keep pushing threw, I hear the second month is when the fat just comes off anyways. :flowerforyou: edit:…
  • That sounded like me last year. I was in and out of the doctors a lot trying to get help. Finally figured out I have Fibromyalgia. When I was in one of those "moods" I would step away and breath. I would snap for no reason really. I would say talk to your doctor and try and relax. Body pillows helped me to sleep some.. but…
  • Eating more does usually help some people. Just because it didn't work for you doesn't mean they are wrong, I honestly don't think you gave it enough time. But seeing as you don't find that working make sure you hit your goal EVERY DAY. Also eat back your exercise calories. There is plenty of fun exercises.. try and change…
  • I would say moderate exercise because P90x is pretty tough.
  • I add fruit to mine. Berries, lemons, and limes. That is about it.
  • Tell him to eat what you cook or make his own food. That is what I do. Maybe try and turn some of his favorites into something healthier. Like instead of fries make sweet potato fries/wedges. You can't change his mind, he has to do that on his own.
  • That is awesome, you must be so proud of her. She looks amazing! :flowerforyou:
