I have PCOS. Just getting back on here after not being on for a while! Add me if you'd like :)

Well, speaking from experience, the more carbs I eat, the hungrier I get. I've recently started eating more protein and less carbs and I am not nearly as hungry any more. Also, veggies. Filling and low calorie.

I am here!

My whole life I felt like I was fat and that was it! I was in my late teens by the time I realized I didn't have to be fat any more. I have never been a "normal" weight. Well, maybe when I was in kindergarten! Now that I've had two kids, and I am done having kids I'm finally ready to try and get to "normal" weight range.

I have felt that way most of my life too!

I'm not an expert but I like the calculators on this website http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.php

I would try to lower your carbs a little and raise your protein. Also are you exercising at all? I personally do not lose weight if I don't exercise.

I was like this too for a while when my son was smaller. I'm feeling it again lately and he is now 2 and only nurses a couple times a day! For me, I eat when I need to and then I focus on making sure I keep up with exercise to balance it out. I have read that breastfeeding burns an extra 300-500 calories a day. I believe…

Heating pad usually helps me. I have PCOS and sometimes only get my period every other month and it is killer! Some light exercise also helps.

If you really want to lose inches faster, I echo the above, do some strength training! What worked for me was 30 day shred. I have only lost 12lbs but I have lost 3 inches in my waist!

Depends on where your body loses fat first. Take measurements and see?

I don't know either. I've been eating at RMR for a few days now and feel so much better.

Thanks Doxie! How did it go?

Hi there! I would be worried that your metabolism will slow down with such a low amount of calories. Adding in one more meal would probably be a good idea. Maybe make a salad, wrap, soup, or whatever you like with some protein and healthy fats and bring that to work to eat during one of your breaks. If you could find the…

Thanks for your replies. I appreciate it.

That's what I was eating lost almost 12lbs and then started gaining :(

Whenever I make a recipe, I go under the food tab then "Enter New Recipe". I measure everything I'm using and enter in there and how many portions it will make.

You're not eating enough calories is my guess. Try looking up IPOARM on the message boards.

They're about 20 minutes long.

Yep I was afraid of injuring myself and then not being able to do anything at all. I'm so glad I found the alternative for jumping jacks. I thought it was ironic how Jillian goes on about not wanting any injuries and then refuses to give a jumping jack alternative.

I am knock-kneed and it was the jumping jacks that hurt me. Oddly enough never had a problem with squats or lunges so I found a modified jumping jack to do that was lower impact and it has helped me a lot.

I started about 2 weeks ago. Hurt my knees. And started taking 2 rest days a week so I am behind but I have lost almost 2lbs still just from level 1. And an inch from my waist so far which is my biggest problem area.

I have them. I had pain in my right knee only, went to a doctor and he gave me a knee brace to use. I only use it when I have pain. Mostly they don't even bother me. I'm interested to see what kind of exercises are recommended for them though.

It has helped me in the past. But I never took it with metformin. I would not take it with metformin.

Thanks but my kids don't eat vegan, just me. I think the fact that both my children are very healthy, active and normal weights speaks for itself. I have consulted with their pediatricians, they have had all their routine check ups and blood work and are just fine. My youngest is 2 and has never been sick for more than a…
