Hi, Same here,, been on and off for awhile,, but back on track and looking for like minded fun friends.

I am frutstrated by plateau. I'm under my calorie goal, working out, and the scale won't budge. Any suggestions to not get frustrated??

Hi there all, Hi Jangar , I'm originally from NJ also, and getting ready for Holidays. Would love some more motivation and support. My daughter is getting married next month - I've been doing well, but hitting a plateau after doing a 3 day cleanse. Any ideas? Thanks

Thats the hardest thing for me, but I'm happy to see that I have been able to control them for the most part. It's hard because when you keep thinking about something you want, it's hard to get around that. But just distract yourself with another activity or eat something 'lighter' and eventually it will pass..

I see the same thing with the Fitbit, which is why I stick to MFP for calorie counts. The Fitbit is good for recording steps and thats about what I mostly use it for.

Hi, I'm 60 - started with 130 to lose. Lost 25 before MFP and about 50 more here, so 75 down, 55 to go. Please add me! would love to give and receive support.

Jacksonville, FL, close enough?

I wore mine through security. It was treated no differently than a watch.

This looks like a good place to make friends and find support. i'm 60, been on MFP for a year and have lost over 40 pounds. Some friends have come and gone and I would like to find some 'new blood' to help my progress.. Thanks!

I think if it's net calories due to exercise, then you shouldnt worry about it. I find it's more successful to NOT EAT exercise calories. So if you actually eat 1200, but work off 200-300, you should be fine and lose a little faster.

My daughter is getting married in October and I want to get a gorgeous dress and look good in the pictures! The danger in losing "JUST' for a wedding, is what will keep you from gaining it all back afterwards?? My older daughter was married 10 years ago and thats exactly what happened.. I'm hoping this time to be more…

Ive struggled with this also. Trying to cut back on dairy, but dislike the alternative creamers. I finally decided on the 'Natural Bliss' brand, - they're in the regular creamer section, but dont have the artificial ingredients and chemicals of the mainstream ones. A teaspoon or two a day wont derail my efforts and it's…

Thanks. I actually dont want to get too far off track. I dont mind maintaining, but I dont want to gain. I'm going to try to be active and not overdo it...

Sorry, I'm not up on all the acronyms.. what's DD and JUDDD? It may be harder Post menopause, but it's just as possible and even more important to get healthy at this stage.. I just turned 60 - please add me as a friend for support.

Sounds like a good place for me. Turning 60 in March. Told my doctor in Dec I'd be down 25 pounds by my birthday. Down about 12 so far.. Appreciate any help. Please feel free to add me as friend. Thanks!

Hi, feel free to add me as a friend and we can share tips. My daughter is a vegan and I've gone back and forth with it over the last few years. I found I feel much better the more 'veganized' I can be, so I'm diving back in to start the year. Try PCRM.org, they have a 21 day vegan kickstart program thats really good.

I think a lot of us are in the same boat. Just find what worked for you before and do it..

Hi, 'Flexitarian' but leaning to veg for health reasons. My daughter is vegan and has taught me a lot. Would love to be friends with vegetarians. Please add me!

Thank you both for your suggestions.

I know how you feel. It's so embarassing to be left out of things because you're too big. I was just on vacation and the worst is having to use the extension seat belt on an airplane. Hope we can help each other.

I'm scared to lose and scared NOT to lose.. I feel like I'm just stuck in limbo. Saw a picture of myself today and was so totally disgusted.. feeling a little hopeless. Help?

Hi, I have some allergies, but am not also aware of what. I break out in mild rash/hives but its kind of random, and not always easy to identify. Feel free to add me!

Hi, I just got a Vitamix to help me with getting healthy and losing weight. Yes, its expensive, but so worth it! I make awesome fruit/veggie smoothies for breaksfast a few times a week and I'm FULL til lunch. Never happend before, even with hearty breaksfasts like oatmeal. Just use your imagination - I've tried mixing,…
