Bump for motivation!

Wow! Keep it up! You are amazing :)

If you are exclusively breast feeding you are burning an extra 500 calories a day. Take how much you want to lose a week from the above poster and add 500 calories a day. Good luck!

Did you multiple that by 1.4 or 1.5? It doesn't seem like you did. Maybe you did the first part of the equation but not the second. You probably calculated only your BMR.
-
THIS. My girlfriend and I are constantly talking about "hangry" It messes with you!!!
-
I'm sure you've heard this a million times but I feel like I'm morally obligated to tell you that never, ever under any circumstances is this healthy for you. You are are doing your body serious damage. Even if you weigh 100 pounds, which few do, that is still dangerous territory. Your organs, including your brain, need…

I'm a whole 7 inches taller than you. I would die on 1200 calories a day. To me its not worth it. At 5 feet I could see how that could work though.
-
So ummm....could you make that public? I would love to do that but I don't have a single clue how!
-
OK. you need to AT LEAST eat 1200 a day. It's the bare minimum to sustain your body and that's if you are pretty thin. If you are bigger (like me) it's more. I know it feels like a lot, but that's what an eating disorder does to our brain. I've been there. I spent many months eating exactly 650 calories a day. Binge eating…

Good Lord. I'm thinking of trying this.

Diet Coke is made from pure unadulterated hatred. If you drink it you will go to Hell.

I'm super confused by your response. There is nothing wrong with frying potatoes. I do mine in olive oil which has many many nutritious effects. I would MUCH rather eat real potatoes in real olive oil than some fake low-fat diet food.
-
One thing I've found and appareciate through MFP is how different people are. I'm ALWAYS hungry and I could eat 1500 in one meal I swear.
-
I don't do diets. Any kind of restriction just doesn't work for me. I eat cleaner, I eat less and I move more. Good luck!

You DO have to workout more to lose weight! OK. So here's the deal. PCOS can, but does not always, lead to or result from insulin resistance in the body. Higher blood sugar levels make it difficult to lose weight. This is because higher blood sugar can lead to cravings and a store of fat. However working out lowers blood…

Yes. This is so crazy but in two weeks of working out and drinking more water my blood pressure has dropped 20 points on top and bottom.
-
Before and after you are stunning. I know it seems silly but my ultimate goal right now is 190. I'm 5 7 and so many of you girls look amazing at that weight!!!
-
This made me giggle.

There are so many things i want to say to you. First, PCOS does not have to stop you. I have PCOS and even a little exercise helps even blood sugar so that you are able to lose weight like a normal person. I know that you mentioned fractures so do no impact exercises. Elliptical, water aerobics etc. Anything that will get…

1. You are lovely. At your previous and current weight. 2. You hit something on the head that I've been thinking about a lot. I get so scared and don't do anything because I think "well I can't maintain a routine like this. Yes I can work out an hour today but maybe not again for another 5 days". It doesn't matter. You do…

Thanks so much for the replies....I think that its definitely emotional eating. I'll eat dinner at like 6-6:30 then I'll just keep eating....like snack things until midnight when I go to bed. I recently got divorced and am living on my own and I definitely think comfort and boredom are BIG players.

you look so teeny in your profile pics and you were just leaning over. dont let them bother you!

So I love cruises. LOVE. I lost 5 pounds on my last cruise! You can do it. Here's what I did: 1. Wonderful fresh fruit for breakfast with a yogurt and an english muffin 2. I worked out in the gym on the elliptical for about 45 minutes every day while I stared out at the ocean. When I didn't go to the gym I walked around…

So happy for you but also smiling because if this ever happens to me I will **** myself.

I've recently started buying bulk packs of chicken at the store and then freezing the breasts in individual bags. I pull one out and stick it in the fridge and then when I come home from work I can throw it in a skillet with and pop a baked sweet potato or a bag of veggies in the microwave. I have dinner in less than 20…

You ladies are a d*mn inspiration! To OP: *Log, log and then log some more. Did you have one peice of shredded cheese? Yup, log it. *Drink water. Drink so much water that you think you will never stop peeing. That's probably enough. *Move. You don't have to start running or doing 40 minutes on the elliptical, just move.…

wow thank you!

I have never experienced this. I would get a padded sports bra and make sure that you have a PROPER fitting one so that it's holding everything in place. No chaffing if nothing is jiggling. I have heard of this happening to runners in marathons, even getting bloody nipples. If you need to you can always put some lotion or…

Hi. I'm new. I have too much weight to lose but I'd be happy with 100. Way happy. I'm Stacey. Monday - Check In - I'm ok. The weekend didn't kill me. Trying to stay motivated. I recently gained 6 pounds back of the weight I had lost and that was really frustrating but Im attacking it again. I think I'm going to start 30 DS…
