I am still just a teen; I don't cook and I can't be bothered to calculate calories in some thing that doesn't already have the amount of calories printed on the side (ie, my step-dad's home made cooking.) I managed to lose a pound a day last week. Drop your intake to 1000 calories and it worked for me. But other than that, stop eating the calories you earn by exercise and make sure you count the calories in vegetables and fruit.

You don't feel different but I bet you look different. I feel exactly the same as I did before; hating my body and wanting to feel thinner. But people are constantly telling me I've lost weight and my clothes are hanging off me, it's just because you're so used to yourself.

well i'm only 18 and i am losing weight for vanity reasons so i am constantly telling my friends and family that i have lost wait because otherwise they'd probably keep buying me chocolate and unhealthy stuff. i also brag a bit as well because i'm darn proud of myself! why would you not tell any one?

I'm 5'5ft as well and I'm now 142lbs, it's nice to see some one who's around the same weight and height as me. I want to get down to 126lbs so I'm with you on this.

Yeah I'm actually not overweight any more, but the bottoms of my legs are really skinny and then my thighs are massive.
