I can mentor people if they like. One or two would be ideal because I really wanna be able to get to know you and your struggles. I, personally, don't have the best of eating habits, but I know what healthy eating looks like. Like many have said before, easier said then done. I don't judge people when they mess up (it will…

I've been vegetarian my whole life (I'm 19 now) and haven't experienced health problems because of it. You just have to make sure you're getting enough protein (sounds like your doing this no problem) and all those nutrients that you would've easily gotten from meat (iron especially). Maybe try explaining that to your dad…

Being told that I'm so lucky I can eat anything and stay skinny. I don't eat anything. I pay attention to what I eat and I exercise. And then I treat myself sometimes. Anyone can do that. Also when you want just one serving of something like chips/pretzels and all the bags are gigantic with 3-5 servings in each

I usually chew some gum or have a mint

I've lost about 24 lbs and gone from a 32C/D to 32A/B, although I usually wear sports bras (in which case I've gone down a size). Now I just think my boobs are too big, but I don't think they'll get any smaller :(

Two things.. 1)No, those aren't friends. 2)Some people do it without meaning to. If you're gonna be overly sensitive to what others say about your body then you need to either a-tell them not to talk about your body (and you don't talk about theirs either) or b-suck it up and just realize that you're making a difference in…

You are at the ideal weight for you're height. If you are small framed, maybe you could get away with losing a lb or two, but otherwise you shouldn't lose any more weight and let your body adjust and find it's own 'perfect' weight. Everyone's body is different. Just eat healthy/well and stay active and see where you fall

I'm 5'4 and have lost just over 25 lbs in about a year and a half. Still wanna lose more although others say I don't need to (I think they're lying)

I tried on a pair of pants yesterday that I was sure wasn't gonna fit me (they looked much smaller then the size on the tag) and they actually did AND were loose

Maybe in addition to lifting start pillates or something similar to build core muscles.
-
I think they've covered a lot of how to do it. Also, as you continue to count calories you might find that you've simply memorized them for some things

My diet is not ideal and I'm working on adding protein, but I've had carbs take up most of my diet and then had fat and protein about the same. If/when I can get more protein I take it out of the carbs percentage instead of the fat

I'm not sure what powerlifting is (sounds like it has to do with weights though), but I'm a horseback rider (explains my pic right lol) and have so much trouble getting protein due to being very picky and a vegetarian as well. Feel free to friend me if you'd like

Yea. I was very surprised when I found out too. It explains why I kept losing hair after starting to eat healthier (before I was having very low calorie days everyday). If you've been consistently eating well and getting all the required vitamins for a year though I'm not sure that would impact your hair now, if anything…

I can't say anything about menopause or pre menopause stuff (I'm 19 so I have a ways to go before that), but I can say that your hair reflects your nutrition 3 months ago. So even if you have balanced your diet now, you may be experiencing the effects from past months now when it comes to your hair

I'm 5'4 and not exactly sure what my goals are right now. I'm still losing, but I'm not sure exactly about UGW or whatever. I was 125 when I started

likes wolfs and is named bayne

Really? I look too skinny? How so? I'm actually genuinely confused because I have never seen myself as too skinny or anywhere near that. Maybe that is what I need to do with weights. But I have no idea where to even start with that. Any advice?
-
No, I'm looking for people to help me. Because, quite frankly, I don't always see the difference between myself and someone who is 40 lbs heavier then me and the same height. And I included my picture because sometimes people have asked for my stats and I thought a picture would do better then sharing them. As for eating…

Your body is trying to adjust to your new diet/lifestyle changes. You may be retaining water for a number of different reasons and that cause the gain this week
-
How do I know if I'm losing muscle instead of fat? Also, what is considered extremely underweight? Thanks!

Tell your parents to stop. Your mom's eating habits, despite you saying that she's always done that, are not healthy. You sound like me around 3 years ago. Starting to feel really bad when you eat. I hope you can learn to move past the guilt and keep going on your healthy weightless journey. I know I couldn't and ended up…

That looks so damn good

toned

I'm 5'4 and my maintenance calories are probably around 1000 when I don't do any exercise. I'll find that I often gain if I go over that net.
-
Yea, I did forget these things...whoops! I'm 19, 105.5 lbs, 5'4 and sedentary

Yea, I said maintain and I did put the same info into all the calculators so it just seemed weird to me...

bump anyone?

I sorta do need a number though, I can't see the difference between when I was 10 lbs heavier and now anywhere, but on the scale
