squats and punches sound as though they well get/keep heart rate up! Re what cardio I can do - I have been laying low, walking too much is uncomfortable and I did not do any skiing this winter. I need to get in a pool and get on an eliptical. thanks again all!

veganchica12, where did you find that adorable bunny scale photo???? the key to ridding oneself of water retention is to continue to drink water, silly as it sounds. also be mindful of sodium intake.

been there, done that. It does work if you stick with it. MFP is great and one does not need a special calculator to figure out point values. High cost, some instructors better than others. If you have not done so, attend a meeting to get aquainted good luck

i'm in - a bit frightened to say/set an actual # as that gig has been a bit of a downer in the past - so my goal is to incorporate more activity d/t bum hip, and continue to lose every week, though know that at some point there may be a "normal" plateau or occasional slight increase d//t hormonal variations. the "head case" feelings of looking in the mirror after trying on clothes and not liking the reflection - 14 pounds into my journey. One needs to be very careful not to slip back in to those old thoughts.

i've got the dun lop but also use this to describe my blob below belly button. so I still have a pair of pants that were the last ones that I could zip and button with a large dunlop or muffin top. i really should dispose of them! the next size pants are the same size only petit and are difinitely smaller ( and too short)…
