I was totally on board with Xbox until this week. I'm really thinking it's time to make the switch. I was going to just get another old Xbox later this year, but I'm thinking the PS4 is the way to go.

I agree with trying different brands or even different types. I thought I would really like the kind you could sleep in for 30 days. I wanted to rip my eyes out after the first 3 days.

Yes. I have a tattoo that I plan on getting when I get to my goal. However, there are a couple smaller ones that I'm getting before then. It's definitely a great motivator.

I started the challenge last week. The cleanse was a complete disaster for me. There is a ton of niacin in the Herbal Cleanse pills and quite a bit in Spark. It gave me a horrible itchy rash all over my face. I stopped after Day 4. I'm currently on Day 3 of the MNS/Meal Replacement shakes and feel so much better. I don't…

Lookup the Couch 2 5k program. It's a 9 week program that will take you from not being a runner to running (or jogging) a 5k. It's a challenging program if you're not in shape like me, but it's doable. You don't have to complete it in 9 weeks...you can go at your own pace. Just be sure to take it slow. I made the mistake…

Multi-vitamins make me feel icky, so I understand where you're coming from. I've tried gummy vitamins, and those work well. A couple of years ago, I found New Chapter vitamins. They're not cheap, but they don't make me feel like I'm going to toss my cookies. Also, they have different types (one a day, calming with holy…

Fruit is high in carbs, so you shouldn't eat it.

I agree with this. You may want to consider finding a counselor. I have horrible self esteem and get overwhelmed with things very easily. I found a good counselor that has helped me change some of my negative thinking and bad habits.

Since I rarely do housework, I count it.

I'm finding that eating snacks during the day is making me hungrier as well. If I stick to 3 healthy meals a day, I seem to do better.

Brooks were recommended as the top shoe brand to almost all of my friends when they were fitted at a local running store. Apparently, they're great shoes. Mine was Mizuno though. I get fitted every year and it's always the same shoe, just the updated version. I like this list. I think these are all great. I have nothing to…

I was told the same thing by a doctor. I ignored it. I didn't get fat by eating too much fruit.

I'm going to Las Vegas next week and plan to get up early and run. There's nothing like the Vegas strip early in the morning after the party people are fast asleep. We'll see if this actually happens. I try to work out on vacation...the best of intentions doesn't always happen.

Fage hands down for me. I think it's just a personal preference between Fage and Chobani.

I'm going to start the challenge next week. I have a friend that lost about 16 inches, and ran her first 10k a few weeks after the completed the challenge. I'm always skeptical of these types of things, but she's not one for gimmicks so we'll see.

I hate walking. I was in the middle of walking a 5k race when I decided to run parts of it. I fell in love with running. I have a ways to go, but it's still my favorite form of exercise.

I give myself extra "me" time as rewards. Like I get to ready for an extra hour during the week or I can watch a movie.

I see a lot of people lose a lot of weight quickly at the beginning. Some people say it's water weight. Since I've never had this unfortunate problem, I don't know the reasoning. It's not uncommon though, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you're doing the right things you're weight loss will eventually even out, so…

Bump for later. I need new salmon ideas.

There is also the SuperCon 5k at the beginning of June. Fun for geeks or people who just want to be super heroes for a day.

I got fitted at my local running store yesterday. These are my second pair of Mizunos and I love them! Too bad these bad boys are hideously ugly.

^^This. I have visible tattoos, and my company is pretty accepting of tattoos and piercings. However, we are expected to look professional in front of clients. I can't wear skirts or short sleeves when I'm visiting clients, and I'm ok with that. My boss thinks I'm a whack job on a personal level, but she also recognizes…

If you're walking long distances, I highly recommend going to a running store and being fitted. I had all kinds of issues when I was walking. As soon as I got the right shoes, everything turned around.

I take it for acid reflux. Believe it or not, it works wonders. I've also used it when I've had colds to clear congestion. I have no idea about helping with appetite.
