Bump for later

MFP doesn't distinguish between natural and processed sugars. Unless you're eating all processed sugars, which you're not then don't worry about it. Most people I've seen have removed the sugar counter from their diary.

I just tried to do workout 2 of 30DS followed by workout 3. I did all of 2 (including the warm down) and the warm up and circuit 1 of workout 3. I would say if your pushed for time, there's no reason why you would need to do the second warm up, but it might help ease you into the second DVD and will be extra calories burnt!

My gym has a rule, that once the class has started, you can't join (they do usually bend this rule if your a regular and its still the warm up part) I would never leave during a class, unless it was urgent and I wouldn't make a habit of it! I have been to classes I didn't like but I just stuck with it and didn't go again,…

For me, shin splints was caused by a low calcium level. I'm lactose intolerant, so I struggled to get enough and now I take supplements and haven't had any further issues. It's not always the shoes, but do make sure there fitting well too

What exercise are you able to squeeze in?

I would like to give it a go. My boyfriend is curious about my workout routine- he does 25mins at the gym each morning just running and rowing, but I do a mix of running (outside and at the gym), classes, PT time, DVDs and weights. However, whenever I suggest we go running together or he try my weights he says no. The…

I don't have asthma anymore but when I did, I used to take it before I went running and then keep it with me (if possible)

I use the mirrors in the studio to check my form, I do kickboxing and find it really useful. I know the instructor also uses it to keep an eye on everyone. However, there are mirrors all down one side of the equipment room, which is useful for weights and stretching- not so good for the treadmills that are directly in…

Be mindful of other people, keep out their way. Smile if you make eye contact with someone, especially if they look exhausted and want to give up! It can be a real encouragement if you feel your in it together- even if you're complete strangers Don't worry if you have to walk, but try and get in a nice rhythm and it will…

After a stressful day at work yesterday and ending up in tears twice, I didn't over eat. In fact I was under my calories goal for the day, this would have been unheard of a few weeks ago.
-
I'm not there yet but I'm thinking my goal weight is going to come up. I'm 5'6" and my current goal weight is 120lbs. I have been working hard since February and my fitness is greatly improved, as well as being more toned but my weight hasn't really gone down that much. My current goal is now heading towards a size 8 (UK)…

I used to do kickboxing when I was about 16 and loved it. It made me really flexible and was a great workout. I have recently started it up again. This class is different but still a good workout. It's great for strength, flexibility, core strength and stability! I just wish the 1hr class was 2hr as we don't seem to get…

As far as I know, that isn't offered in the UK. Here, you only have a colonoscopy if there is a reason to

I love being in summer rain! I have to wear my contacts or I just can't see where I'm going but as long as it isn't too cold, there's no reason why you shouldn't go running in the rain

Do you listen to music when running? I find it really helps me to keep going for several reasons: a good beat is difficult not to move to!, it helps me to keep pace, I can't hear myself breath so I don't think i'm as exhausted as I sound, it stops boredom to name a few I just completed 10k and I'm sure I could have done it…

Is this just done as a precautionary measure in the US?

Used to favor white, now prefer milk but if it's there i'll eat it!
-
Way to Go! Keep it up (as long as you can do safely) and you'll be running further and faster in no time

Have you taken a look at the C25K program? The first week is 1 minute running 1 minute walking. You go at our own pace, it's not a sprint but a steady jog. I have done it and I would suggest you give it a go. You can always repeat weeks until you are confident enough to move on to the next. I really can't suggest anything…

Hi There! I'm on day 3 and I've been logging it as circuit training, as that is the advice given in several other posts. If you follow her advice on correct form, you should have no injuries, maybe take a look in the mirror while you're doing it to check? I'm sure after a few days you will see a massive improvement!

I wear a 32DD and find shock absorber to be the best
-
Yesterday I ran the Race for Life 10k in 61 minutes
-
I can't remember which ones I have but I also got mine from sports direct. They have various types available
-
My activity is set to sedentary. I don't log my weights or walking from work to the bus stop (about 1.2 miles per day), shopping or walking around during the day. I do, however log my walk from the bus stop to home (about 2 miles a day).

4 months so far and not there yet! MFP is set to 0.5lbs a week for me so I'm hoping soon i'll reach 10lbs lost

Bump?
-
I'm starting on Thursday. More nervous about that then the 10k run I'm doing on Wednesday!
-
I'm going to start on the 20th. I'm a bit confused. Are you supposed to do it every day or just a few days a week?

I'm in Reading. Feel free to add me
