I would start lifting heavy immediately. I recommend stronglifts 5X5. I have a buddy that is doing it and he has only lost 1lb the whole 2 months. He looks better than 2 months ago. Bod recomposition at its finest. When you lift heavy you build muscle and burn calories along the way increasing your deficit. If possible I…

Walking is enough for a while. Once your body adapts find something new and fun to do like biking, basketball, etc. I would suggest incorporating strength training in on top of it. Maximize that membership and maintain and even gain some muscle and strength

You can add direct ab work that you can add weight to. Something like the hangnig leg raise or captains chair exercise with a dumbbell in between your feet. As you increase the weight and build the muscle it will get bigger, Shred some fat off with some more cardio and good dieting and you will lose the fat. Simplest way…

Feel free to add me. I am pretty consistent with logging, post motivation every once and a while, and I am just trying to lift everyone up because I know at some point we all fall

5'10 240lb Sure I would be losing on 2500 if I could stick with it. I have been knocking down anywhere from 2000-3500 calories and losing. I workout every day except Saturday and Sunday and I get a ton of steps from my 2nd job. Low intensity walking 5X a week, moderate intensity weights 3X a week, High Intensity cardio…

Add me if you like. I log on every day no matter what.

New balance is my #1. Altra shoes are not everywhere but if you have one then hop in it and feel the difference. I used new balance my whole life and I have used altra for 1 shoe. My foot is extraordinarily wide so only certain shoes fit me. I love both of these brands

You can workout 3-4 days a week. As long as you enjoy it do it. If you don't enjoy your workouts I would suggest finding different exercises you like. If your not ding any resistance training like bands, weights, calisthenics, yoga, trx, or anything do it.

My forearms are getting bigger on the new power training program I made. Also, I did lunges with weights as heavy as I did the summer I lose 30lbs for an extra 2 reps. Getting stronger every day!

I second that. Weight loss is like a balloon. You can fill it with oil/fat or water/muscle. As you lose some oil and can replace it with water. AS you know they don't mix though. Also look at nowloss.com he has a lot of exercises to add on top of a program you start following

Workout with coworker on lunchbreak Tuesday to work a section of the body ex lower. Workout solo or with a friend at night for another section ex upper. Core cardio and stretching for the days in between. On the next day switch up the sections you worked. Work core, cardio, and stretching the next day.

I would say cabbage. It is one of my other foods that has been sneaking up on me these past few weeks.

Start taking inches and pictures weekly. You may be lowing inches. If your not strength training and lifting heavy then you should start. The body is a professional at making itself stay in one state. Log accurate, lift heavy, amp up your cardio, and sleep 8-10 hours. If your doing all this and stepping up each(heavier…

I commend you for being able to care for your kids. I feel like it does get in the way. I have food in my friidge that needs to be eaten both healthy and unhealthy. I find when I get hungry enough I will eat anything so I prepare it in the best way possible and eat. Of course, I have a safety net being able to exercise…

You don't have to follow rules. You don't have to eat every 2 hours, 6 small meals, workout every day., use HIIT to lose fat etc. Make your own rules. Observe the facts and make your own. Example: I may fast in the am to get more work done as I am more productive. Then, I may eat half of my cereal and banana an hour before…

Feel free to add me. I love to bike, play basketball, throw my discus, and walk. Trying to get into rucking. I play games a little every 2-3 days but I have no where near the amount of time I would like to play these days now that I have a little girl that is almost 2. I play call of duty, sonic, and midnight club mostly.…

You should also work to strengthen the muscles. Along with calf raises do shin raises. The movement is called dorsiflexion. It will strengthen those muscles . So if you work your calves by rocking on your toes, rock back on your heels and really try to push your toes up far. If you have resistance bands, a backpack with a…

This is the case after I play basketball for more than 2 hours. I had a trick for it. I put almonds, a protein shake, and 4 cups of water in a circle. I ate 1 almond, 1 drank 1 sip of the protein shake, and 1 sip of water. Usually kills the hunger. Other than that, I eat great foods and enjoy what I believe to be the…

Last Monday my office started a walking challenge. We go from the middle floor up to the top floor and then down to the bottom floor and back to the 2nd floor. We do this every hour on the hour and each week we will add a little more to the route. Also, different people lead the walk so we always mix up the pace

Your in a gray area where it would be hard to say. I'll explain below but my clear answer to you is Yes. You could even build a little more. I am a trainer and I have tried this as well. I gained strength and muscle adding reps until I got to 10 and finding a way to make an exercise harder. With focusing more on bodyweight…

I lost weight in a multitude of ways but I wanted to tell you that you can lose weight and get an effective workout at home, especially if you are on a 1st floor or a house. Look up nowloss.com. The trainer there has a multitude of workouts for what you would want to do. Get a pull up bar and a set of weights Dumbbells you…

I wish I could be with you. I simply don't have the funds to do so at this moment. I found out that excessive sugar without a lot of water as well as brushing my teeth before I fall asleep will cause sore throat. I plan to cut out the majority, but refined sugar is so cheap! As soon as I get this other job I will be…

I workout with friends and catch them at the gm on multiple days. If I am solo I can easily think about how I was and where I have been. I used to be 30lbs lighter, doing pull ups and 1 leg squats, getting comments, and having abs. That was easily the most capable and happiest I have ever been.

I would say Stronglifts 5X5 is great depending on if you have the equipment or can adapt it such as if you have a planet fitness membership. I would say do free weights of possible. Other than that use machines and hit bodyweight exercises. Bridging from knowledge and exercises in convict conditioning you could superset…
