Maybe your friends snotty attitudes are cries for help. More about their dissatisfaction with their health and weight then a comment on your health or weight. I do not agree with any one body shaming another, but living in a country with socialized medicine I find it annoying that so much of my tax dollars is spent on…

The advice I recently read was to use nail polish on the skin directly or glue the nail to the new nail and paint it. Doesn't fix the problem but will camouflage it. If someone (uninvited) gets so close to your feet that they can tell, you have bigger concerns then a couple of nail less toes.

So basically your doctors have told you to "Suck it up". Unacceptable! Get a second, third or fourth opinion. Go to a doctor that specializes in pain management.

And the medication he takes to replace the missing hormone.

Why would you not take thyroid hormone that you have been prescribed? Thyroid hormone is a master regulator of metabolism. If fatigue isn't a good enough reason - what about high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol or other cardiac complications of hypothyroidism. There are serious health complications associated with…

Perhaps your co-worker exudes confidence, maturity and joie de vivre. My first impression from your post is that you lack self confidence and need others approval. Perhaps I am being unfair. But, why else would you want random strangers on the internet to tell you that yes you are cute. It doesn't matter what we think. It…

To get to the low end of your BMI - 6 kg. But, maybe it would be better just to focus on getting healthy and happy. You don't need another number to stress over.

Great legs, cute kid, fun socks, ugly shorts. I would keep all except the shorts.

http://water.epa.gov/scitech/swguidance/fishshellfish/outreach/advice_index.cfm#tuna Canned light tuna is lower in mercury. Albacore tuna has higher levels of mercury. Levels of mercury are sufficiently high to warrant Government advisories especially for pregnant and nursing women (obviously does not apply to you). You do…

http://www.ewg.org/research/tuna-calculator The above is a link to a calculator for determining how much tuna you can safely consume a week (based on FDA guidelines). A 190 lbs male can consume safely consume about 3 cans a week.

Shin splints while painful are not limb threatening. Compartment syndrome is - it can also lead to rhabdomyolysis, kidney failure and ultimately death. I wouldn't play around with your health. Seek medical attention.

The fact he is super skinny and can eat what he wants is only relevant because it is like salt in the wounds his verbal abuse is causing. He is a bully. You deserve better. Why stay with someone who makes your life miserable? I wouldn't tolerate his behaviour. Ever.

Cross out the word "bad" in your profile picture and that would describe your coworker to a tee. If there is such a thing as cosmic karma he will sprain his ankle on his next run.

From your comment - it sounds like you lost 50 lbs in 6 weeks. Is that what you intended?

I was a member at a cross fit gym for about 1 year. It was expensive. My biggest issue was it aggravated a chronic shoulder injury to the point were getting dressed was a challenge. With my shoulder injury I simply in the end couldn't do the workouts. The gym didn't have any alternatives. My membership became a huge waste…

If a gym instituted such a policy they would be sued for discrimination.

I agree with you. It wouldn't surprise me however if that sentiment was the exception and not the norm. But maybe I am underestimating people.
-
Based on some of the comments, not everyone is as focused as you. My point is directed to those that are watching the "scenery". For those that don't like the policy, would you feel the same way if the woman in question was morbidly obese and not toned. Dress codes have to be enforced uniformly. How would you feel if a fat…
-
But would you feel the same way if the bare midriffs and muscles were buried deep under a thick layer of fat? As long as the dress code is clearly set out and uniformly applied, I don't have an issue with it. If I don't like the policy, I would simply choose to take my business elsewhere.
-
Just curious - does the contract you sign when you join PF clearly articulate the dress code? Second, based on comments, PF dress code prohibits tank tops. Does anyone else find it funny that they sell on their website PF tank tops, sports bras and short running shorts? Maybe if her top had the PF logo the staff wouldn't…

They don't taste very good - should have gone for a Cadbury creme egg. A classic.

It is jealousy that is doing the talking. You have to live in your our skin. Ignore the ugly green monster.

That may be true but the sad realty is that if a driver is lax in discharging that responsibility the pedestrian is lucky if they do not end up in a wooden box.

one cup hot milk + one tablespoon Nutella = delicious hot chocolate :drinker:

Whether or not you can smell the effect depends on your genes maybe you will be one of the lucky ones that can't.

Yes - as long as it is good chocolate

Maybe you were nervous about running in front of an alleged expert and, as such, stress impacted your form. There is nothing wrong with running like a girl - a strong, fit, powerful girl. Regardless of your form, you still made the first important step and actually ran. Good for you. I admit it is a personal pet peeve of…

The dizzy, sick, clammy feeling has happened to me when I have done a long morning run on an empty stomach or other strenuous exercise without proper fuel or when I have missed a meal. For me, it is not dehydration but low blood sugar.

I did cross fit for about a year and did get fatter. The reason, looking back is obvious, I was so sore from the couple of workouts I did a week, although I was working out harder, I was working out a lot less then when I was running and therefore burning a lot less calories. I never got over the "I am sore all the time"…
