After trying 2 others (both timex), I bought a polar FT7 and love it. Great investiment, it keep you more of an accurate reading.

My insurance covered it (most do), plus I was able to claim it on this short term disability insurance that I've had, so I actually walked away with extra money...not the reason I did it, but talk about win, win, win!

Congratulations and try to relax. I had this done at the end of August. I am beyond thrilled with the results, and if I was told that I had to do it all over again to maintain the results, I would do so again tomorrow. I spent 2 nights in the hospital (due to the distance from my home), otherwise it would have been one…

You would need to know what your stones are made of (some are calcium, some phosphorous etc), and avoid those foods. I would drink as much water as possible, and make sure you bring your insurance info and a list of current meds, and as much medical history as you have, including when the problem started, what makes it…

When we went with the kids, we saw a broadway show (got the tickets half price at tkts by the red stairs in times square), loved riding the subway and looking at all of the people. Also liked south sea port, and American Idol show that was playing in the street as part of an M&M promotion, but I was a tourist, and…

I love Nakano roasted garlic rice vinegar on my salads, veggies, chicken, fish, etc. I also like the yogurt dressings and do the "dip and poke method" istead of pouring it on.

Angel, Having btdt, I feel your pain, and I am so sorry that you have to go through this. Having said that, I have to tell you that infertility led us to OUR most beautiful place on earth, adoption. We adopted our daughters from China in 2003 and 2006, and couldn't be happier. Hang in there, and I hope that soon you will…

That's fantastic, congratulations!:drinker:

I payed around 100 for mine on amazon, and it was more than worth it. So yes, it's a good deal.

Good Luck, as far as asthma, this site, along with the exercise, has done more for my asthma than any medication that I have ever taken. When I started, I was on multiple inhalers, oral steroids, etc. I now take a singulair once a day. Best of Luck to You, Lynn:smile:

I love my polar FT7, I tried 2 of the timex versions and wasn't at all satisfied. I couldn't get them set up. This one is a lot easier. My SIL bought an FT7 for my BIL and he too loves it. :flowerforyou:

I love PB2 (45 calories in 2 tablespoons) and as a treat will sometimes put sugar free chocolate syrup on it to make a "peanut butter cup" sandwich..

I love my polar FT7, I tried two of the timex ones, but found that they were too complicated to set up. A little pricey, but well worth it. Good Luck, Lynn

I just came back and went with: multigrain bars, alfresco chicken sausages, (breakfast and dinner flavors), pancakes with sugar free syrup, bud light lime, popcorn, 90% beef burgers, quakes, and birds eye steam bags (our camper has a small microwave). Did go out to eat once where I had a salad with a crab cake. We did lots…

Thanks! Now if we could get a scanner app for the iphone, it would be even better!

Wow, and Good Luck. I think that you will find that as you start exercising (do it slow to start) and losing weight, you will start to feel better and better. I started this with uncontrolled asthma and allergies and within 2 months, I was off all of my inhalers and most of my meds in general. You can do this and you and…

I'm going to guess why. Because when you are overweight (or unhappy with your hair or nails or job or whatever) and very unhappy with yourself because of it, it shows. You can't expect people (at least the right kind of people) to like you if you don't like yourself......I went through this about 15 years ago, I lost 70#,…

I didn't have good luck with the two timex's that I bought, I couldn't figure out how to put my weight, height etc in it. I love my Polar FT7 that I bought at the recommendation of this site, and love it more than I could imagine. I am doing the Relay for Life next week and can't wait to see how many calories I burn along…

You'll be fine, get a good workout in, drink some extra water, and move forward, you can't change yesterday, only today and tomorrow...:flowerforyou:

I can't wait to use my HRM when I do the Relay for Life! I plan on burning several calories that night!....hopefully I won't also munch all night too:tongue:

I have a polar FT7 and love it. This is after I purchased two timex models and couldn't figure out how to get them to work. The FT7, was around a $100, but well worth it. It's simple to use, and to update, and seems to keep an accurate calorie count, it's also quite comfortable and easy to clean. I thought that my SIL was…
