ate a light dinner of green beans and cottage cheese after eating pancakes earlier today, balancing this thing out.

tried to do the no flour and sugar thing, that is what didnt work for me. I went back to counting my calories and having 100 gr of carbs or less. I know that works for me. I found out if it works dont mess with it.

I dont think this eating thing ever gets easy. There are always temptations, vacations, life happening. Then there will be easier times. For me weighing every day helps. I think we have to remember what we did to lose the weight and then do that until we get back down to maintenance. I did good during the pandemic also but…

finally realized why I was so hungry. I was eating too many carbs. Today I did not eat them and I was not hungry like I had been for days. I felt so much better and not going around starved for a change. I ate healthy and no junk food and I felt so good.

I feel about the same as the above comment. I dont want to eat all that fattening food any more. My main reason is I like fitting in my clothes. I now realize I dont want to do that damage to my body again. Before I looked at that food as yummy, now I look at it as damaging to me.

yes losing is the easy part, keeping it off is hard but doable if we are cautious.
-
wow most people gained during covid, good for you, that is really a success story, you should be proud!

love this, so positive. I make myself weigh daily now. I cut back when I need to. I went to a church picnic yesterday and took some healthy foods so I would have some stuff to eat, a big salad and some green beans. I also did not bring left overs home like I usually do.

I am so sorry and you are so young, I would probably eat myself to death but no you did it the right way, taking care of yourself, that is great.

I know I did not listen to my parent. I just felt criticized by my Dad. It is something you have to make up your own mind to do. We know we are fat. I went to the gym and got with like minded people and that helped me.

what a difference? Are you short? I know I am, 5'4 and weight loss really shows up on me.
-
i tried to do without the flour and sugar thing people talk about like OA but I agree, life is too short. I do limit these things though. But I am maintaining, I probably could have done that trying to lose the weight easier.
-
wow and I am the same height, 40 lb loss looked like 100 on me, so you look so different.
-
I feel for you, my husband is a hoarder, maybe stage 1. I helped him clean up for 5 hours one day and then I thought I am staying on top of this, checking on him every few days. I can't go thru that again. So far he has kept stuff pretty straight but I know it can get out of hand fast. I feel it is somewhat my fault for…

wow what a difference! doesnt look like the same person.

wow, what a change. You look so good. Did you eat emotionally? I know I had to get a new mindset. When I wanted to eat when stressed I told myself that will just give me one more problem. When I get sick I want to eat, I had to tell myself food is not pain medication, take some medicine, food is not what you need. Yes and…

i dont eat a lot before a work out or I would be sick. I eat something small, kind bar, banana, etc.

three years ago I gained 25 lbs so after that I decided to weigh daily and see where I stand. Then if the weight goes up I can be extra cautious and get it back down quickly.
-
I waited out a craving, it was raining and storming here so I decided I didn't need anything and then forgot about it. Later on I thought well I dont even want that now.
-
yes I like low carb flatbread and some fruit, better for me than sweets.
-
i have a friend who has her dinner at 2 or 3 oclock and she is slim. Might be something to this.
-
After 2 people at my gym gained 35 lbs and 50 lbs I decided to weigh every day so I can at least know where I stand. It has worked good for me. No weight gain in 3 years.
-
wow what a difference! tell us what you did, low carb, keto, calories?
-
I know I get sick of it, I want to be a normal person who eats like others but I know I am like an alcoholic, some foods I just cant quit eating. I have to get the right mindset. This food is so abusive to me,caused so much damage to me so being fat is hard also. I realize I have to eat different from the so call normal so…

rode to the lake on July 4, instead of eating ice cream I decided to try fruit, ate peach, banana, grapes and it hit the spot. I felt a little lonely w/o family and figured it was best to be alone and happy than alone and fat.
-
the weight comes off fast with keto but nothing I could stay on. I went to low carb 100 gr or less and do good with that. Getting off all those carbs has sure worked for me.
-
I gave up the salt and vinegar pork rhinds but now I buy the small packages of pork rhinds which are salt and pepper, barbecue and some other kind. This works well for me. If I buy the small packages it is more expensive but really helps keeping me disciplined.

i went to my favorite steak restaurant and order steak and potato bar. I scoop out most of the potato and fill it with veggies and eat my steak and add more veggies. I never gain weight there. No rolls or desserts.
-
yes I had to stop thinking about what people said, someone told me why lose the weight, you will just gain it back. This really made me mad so I think it motivated me to prove him wrong.

egg whites on low carb flatbread. Nothing better than a egg sandwich. If you got enough calories throw in 1/2 pc of cheese.
