I have been off sweets for 4 weeks, it was easier than I thought, I dont crave them now, who knew? I have also been told I can focus better, seems that way.

I am 67, lost 40 lbs, kept it off for past 3 years, yep, some guy told me at church well you wont keep it off, I had to prove him wrong.

daily works for me for last 2 years, before I woud gain as much as 20 lbs and I didnt weigh regulary so it lets me see where I am at, not burying my head in the sand.

my weight has been down 40 lbs for three years. No one says anything to me any more about losing weight but after I took a picture someone did post something like you have lost weight. Felt good, I said No, just staying about the same.

I have been going 2 lbs up, 2 lbs down, up again. I need to get going good and get weight down so when I vacation in about a month I have some leadway or I will be in big trouble. Trying to get a few lbs down and stay there.

I started weighing every day a couple of years ago so twenty pounds can't get away from me like it did before. I am just recognizing now how damaging all that food is to me rather than how good it is.

my husb insisted on going thru Krispy Kreme, free donuts with vaccination card, but I took 2 bites. Glad that place is not near my house! I was eating some unhealthy foods today, cheese nips but ate 1/2 what I use to, 1/2 pc of cake.

what a difference, logging calories, would like not to but it works so I keep doing it. Worth it, keeping the weight off. Gosh you could gain 20 lbs, wish someone would say that to me, someone did tell me you have lost enough now, so stay there, that felt good.

I came on in Feb 2013 and you are right. MFP has helped me keep my weight off. I lost 40 lbs also. 3 years ago I slipped up after a bad flu and gained 25 lbs back but got it off thanks to logging. After that I started weighing daily so 20 lbs could not get away from me.

That was quite a story. You are a very pretty girl. I am glad you got rid of that first man, sounds like this one is very good. Keeping the weight off is simple but not easy. I think we learn to love our self and quit doing all this destructive overeating. And the wrestling, all of it is amazing!

I love this, packman eating the fat. When I get hungry at night I say Burn Baby Burn and I know I am losing weight, reminded me of that!

I was aggravated with dentist visit and he took 2 days to get back with me and you know what I do when aggravated. Not this time, I said that if I eat it will just give me one more problem so I went to the trail and walked off my frustration. Told myself food will just give me unhappiness! Destroys me.

love these posts, very helpful. I had Hershey choc pie and split it with husb. I try not to deny me stuff because if I do I will just go crazy with it later. We ate fish sand at Burger King and I take my low carb flatbread.

I am 5'4, got down to 156 only one time! Could not stay there so 160-162 is what I can easily maintain. drink my water keep carbs down throw away extra food that will tempt me no eating after 6pm

went to a church eating thing, buffet style, I ate veggies and meat and 1/2 piece of cake, left the rest of the carby stuff alone. I learned my lesson after last week at Golden Corral, dont go back after sweets, leave bread alone. If you go back for 2nds, let it be veggies. win win

wow, you look so different. I know carbs seem to make me hungry. I can tell a lot of difference in my appetite when I cut way down on my carbs. I love that saying it is not the weight you lose but the life you gain. Looks like you are gaining a good life! Congrats!
