I always weigh myself in the morning after I have gone to the bathroom, and before I eat/drink anything. This way I always weigh with the same factors, and the weight tracking progress will be more accurate.

Chicken Parmesan and a side salad. 638 Calories.

It would be nice if you could open your diary up to the public so we could take a look.

If you want to try to continue to be on track, you can do what I do. I don't pay attention to the green or red that MFP gives you. I pay attention to the overall week. I have 12,670 net calories I can consume in a week. Some days I go over the rough allowance of 1810 calories, and some days I go under. If there is a day I…

I would honestly just keep it logged. If you are throwing it up, you obviously won't be able to meet your calorie goal for the day. Make a note for yourself and just take it easy with some ginger ale and crackers. Tomorrow will be a new day. :)

You are definitely lightly active. Sedentary means you basically have no movement throughout the day. I would personally consider myself lightly active, but the numbers that MFP gives me to eat are more consistent to what I should eat with me putting active.

There definitely can be a difference in calorie burn by doing it all at once. Your heart rate will be sustained at a higher level for much longer if you do it all in one workout, meaning more calories burned. However, there won't be a big difference between the two. If you're working out, and eating right, you will see a…

People started to noticed around the 10lb loss mark since I started on MFP, however, it has been a journey. I lost roughly half a lb a week from Jan 1st 2012 to Dec 31st 2012. Some people said a few things last year, but very little. I dropped about 10lbs in 2 months at the beginning of the year and people started to…

Would 10lb weights be a little too much for this workout video?

Wow! Amazing results! I love to see these before and after posts. I plan to do 30DS once I can get some weights to do it with.

Thanks all. I assume it is water weight.

Sweet! Yeah I just edited my first post. I play Ultimate Frisbee once or twice a week depending on the weather (just now starting back up since it's warming up again)
-
The first week I actually went up a pound or two, but since, I have dropped about 2lbs a week by eating at the 1800 net calories suggested for me. (I put in that I was way more active than I actually am, and eat back most of my calories burned through exercise as well... no one is truly sedentary - be honest with yourself)

It's hard to know what's high in calories and what isn't... but try to stay away from those things that are breaded and fried.
-
Definitely net intake. I eat close to 2300 calories a day total, 1800 net, and am dropping about 2lbs a week.

First off, relax. I saw a weight increase my first week (and I have lost 8 lbs the past 4 weeks, so I am doing it right). Second, make sure you weigh yourself at the same time of the day (wearing nothing if possible, or the same clothes if not). I weigh myself every Tuesday morning after I have gone to the bathroom, but…

Down 7.4% since the end of January. Most of it the past 30 days.

As long as you don't make it a normal thing, you can go ahead and not eat anything else.

I can't seem to remember where we ate for lunch, but we ended up getting Rotisserie chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes. It was pretty healthy, and considering all the walking you will be doing, you should be fine.

I always have to wear a belt. I have lineman legs and I always have to wear jeans that are slightly bigger than my waist to be able to fit comfortably.
-
My big motivator was the moment I could fit in the next size down (34" jeans), I bought a few pairs and locked my 36" away. The 34's were tight at first, which was a motivator to do cardio and tone up my legs some. Now they fit loose around the waist and are comfortable to wear in the legs.

It really is amazing how much 1 pound of fat looks like

Thanks. I have about 15lbs to go. Hoping I can push it at a lb a week till June, but if I can't, that's fine.
-
Nvm, I had a problem getting it to work.

MFP has my set calorie goal about 90 calories below my BMR, so I always eat back at least half of my exercise calories (which I normally burn 200-600 a day)
