It is telling you to eat 1200 calories because you have set up your weight loss goal/ week to maximum. You should be eating 500 deficit to lose weight steadily. So your BMR+ exercise calories-500= total that you should eat. Or you can use TDEE calculator. You can find it by googling it.

Well that usually doesn't lead to weight gain, usually causes weight loss. in any case her doctor can tell you if she needs any kind of test.

What is her paediatrician/family doc's opinion? Do they think she is overweight? There are dieticians/nutritionists who work with kids and they can give you great tips about how to handle this. I wonder if you could take her with yourself for walks or bike rides. Sometimes being active curbs the appetite.

These are so inspiring! I can run 10k now, and have been running 5k, 6 day/week for 1 month now. The marathon that I have in mind is in May. My goal is only to finish it. I am going to start training tomorrow! Thank you all for answering my question!

I am browsing here rather studying my 1200+ pages book, writing 50+ pages report, or cleaning my house. I am also a gym rat. Plus, I am tempted to go open my presents. I only eat my raw vegetables to get more of that yummy dip.

Don't worry, it is not broken, just wash the chest strap. Make sure the chest strap is tucked in the sports bra, and it is not moving around a lot. It happened to me too. I ran a 10k and it told me that i burnt only 400 cal. Really?? But then I realized chest strap wasn't tight enough and it was missing heart readings…

Maybe make an appointment with your doctor. Maybe your fatigue has nothing to do with exercise. Being on cautious side won't hurt.
