Thank you so much for the encouragement!

Not as of right now. I only just logged back on today after being gone a few months. I need to start doing that.

Thank you so much for the encouragement. 100 pounds that is amazing, even if you gained some back and so on. To lose that much is amazing dedication. I have never been able to lose more than 20 in one try and it took me almost 8 months. I guess to be successful, I will have to be honest with myself. I admit to lying to…

I sweat, but not a lot. I look around me during classes at the gym and other ladies are dripping on the floor, leaving sweat marks on equiptment, using their towels and just looking like they are REALLY working. Me? I do sweat, but never dripping, never leaving stains on my clothes. For a long time, I thought maybe I…

I know this is an old post, but... I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in OCT 2012. My symptoms were the same as yours. My primary symptoms were migraines and "brain fog" and the next biggest one was digestive issues. I suffered with all of that for years. Within a week of stopping all gluten, the things I had experienced…

I want to know the same thing. I can't run for anything. It's almost like I can't figure out how to breathe properly. I want to run so bad!! It's not even that I'm tired, I just have trouble breathing. Only when I run. I can do all sorts of other things without problem.

Because, I am not someone who wonders why they are not losing weight... I know what I am eating may sometimes sabotage me and I don't really want it pointed out. lol I track for myself. And yes, sometimes I am embarrassed by what I eat. My weight loss is slow. It could be faster if I ate better, but I am fine with a slow…

Thank you everyone for responding. Just reading your advice and own experiences really helps!

I am full of excuses for why I fail. The excuse I use the most is that I got so busy. The real reason is that I am lazy. I guess it means I don't "want it bad enough". That could be it...I feel like I want it bad enough, but obviously I don't. The truth is, I love food. I don't mind excercise one bit, but I LOVE to eat,…

I am with you! I was so good from Jan-May 2013. Then softball started and then cheer. I was so busy with my kids, I forgot to make time for myself. I was loving going to the gym, I even have a year membership paid off...and I wasted a good 6 months of it :( I am so angry at myself.

I eat between 150-175 g of protein a day!
-
chocolate. I can be doing great all day, and then go to the store and can't stop myself from grabbing a candy bar. I hate myself after wards.
-
water mixed with protein poweder makes me GAG. I can't do it. I usually use unsweetened Vanilla ALmond milk, the 30 cal one, I like 1% milk the best but I hate spending the 100 cals on it.

Awesome. I was thinking of buying the Challenge pack with that program and Shakeology...I am wondering though...what are the cardio portions like? Because I live on the 3rd floor and cannot do exercises that require me to jump or bang on the floor so as to disturb the 2nd floor. lol Such a silly thing to keep me from…

I was a full Coca Cola addict before I started losing weight. When I quit it, I started to drink Diet Coke but found that I didn't like the taste so much as the BUBBLES. So I started buying flavored soda water and low and behold, it totally cured my need for soda. Every now and then I feel like having some real Coke, and I…

I use MFP as an estimate. I usually track 95% of what I eat. Combined with my fitbit, I am better at eating at a deficit than I ever have been and am steadily losing weight. Slowly, but losing. If I were 100% strict, I am sure I would lose faster. But I am not in it to drop it all so fast. I am happy with the slow loss…

My thighs and butt are also HUGE. I am losing weight and my shirt size has gone down, but my pants size has not moved. My pants are too lose around the waist but tight on my thighs still. When I try a smaller size pants, I can't get them over my thighs, but they would fit perfectly on my waist. I hate it so much. From past…

My sis in law had Gastric Bypass. She lost 125 lbs, so yeah, she is of normal weight for her height now, but she hasn't done a second of exercising and now has a ton of hanging, loose skin. If you look at her, she just looks like a smaller version of her "fat" self. I always considered THAT what "Skinny Fat" meant. Her…

I have been working out at 5am lately because my kids are now busy with softball in the evenings. If I didn't do it before work, it wouldn't get done.

I love my scale. I weigh salad dressing too. I will put my bowl full of salad on the scale and "zero" it out and then start pouring dressing. The kind I use says a serving is 31g...so I will pour until then. I find it easier than using measuring cups and spoons a lot of times. When I buy a bag of chips I will also buy a…

when I say "normal" I mean I am not eating salads for lunch and dinner. I am eating normal food. I am not talking junk and processed food as normal. I do track on MFP and I eat below my TDEE. I kicked up my exercise to increase my weight loss but the people at work tell me not to even bother working out, that it is a waste…

Haha...I have Celiac Disease and can't eat gluten...I've crushed up a dinner roll in the rest of my food before so I couldn't eat it.

I was so excited to try them because of all the rave reviews I saw here. I went to GNC and bought 6 of different flavors. I can't stand any of them. They are like trying to chew taffy. Just gross.

I love bacon, but it has to be crisp. I can't eat it if it is "wiggly" I also can't eat store brand bacon. I work in a breakfast restaurant and our bacon is ridiculous. I could eat 10 pieces in one sitting, it is so good. Thick cut, smokey and always just crisp enough, it melts in your mouth.. omg...I want bacon..

You guys are all awesome! I have just started c25k. My goal is to run my first 5k in June. I live in MA and now my new goal is to run a Boston Marathon..maybe not next year, but maybe the year after :)

A friend, who is a beachbody coach, sent me 2 samples, chocolate, and vegan chocolate because I wanted to see what the hype was about. I have spent a TON of money the last few months trying to find a shake that I really liked and the regular chocolate shakeology was by FAR the best tasting one I have ever tried. I just got…

I am not a fan of breakfast. I am simply not ready to eat in the am. My stomach almost feels queasy with the thought of eating before 10am or so. It may be psychological for me though. I have Celiac Disease...before diagnosis, I always had muffins or bagels, pancakes, etc for breakfast. I can't eat any of that unless it is…

I call those days "No log" days because I hate the word cheat. I am just living my life, not on a diet. I didnt log yesterday because we were out on a whale watch and then went out to eat...basically I was snacking at the snack bar all day and then I just ordered whatever I wanted for dinner without thinking about calories…

I noticed the same thing. Also, when I do take my kids to McDonalds, I order from the "dollar menu"..I never order "meals".

I took the sugar tracking column out so I don't even have to see it. I was going over every single day and it was causing me stress. I would have a coffee with ONE sugar and then a banana and I would be over my sugar. This was not causing me to stop my coffee....it was causing me to stop eating the banana, or grapes,…
