Have you tried anything on YouTube? I prefer to do different/new workouts rather than the same old dvds forever. There are so many good trainers on YouTube these days...what kind of workouts are you looking for? Tracking calories will be #1 priority for keeping the lbs off.

I don't understand the part about the raw diet "required lots of exercise" yet you were skinny, and now you are not? If you were too thin and lost your period, but now you aren't, perhaps this is a healthier weight for you.

Welcome to MFP. Do you have a specific question about nutrition? When you log your food, you can see where you are low, on fat, carbs, or protein...and then work on adding those in and cutting back on those that are over.

Salad, veggies, lean protein. That's what I start with. Add in extras from there. I usually have sliced apple with some protein (bar or kay's naturals) for afternoon snack.

Ice cream? My mom helped me gain weight by replacing milk with cream(or mixing the two) veggies cooked in cream of chicken soup, protein powder milkshakes, etc. Wherever you can add in a fat(butter, oil, nuts, seeds, cheese) or choose a higher calorie option(chicken thigh instead of breast, whole milk, not skim etc)

I'm not really looking forward to living to 125, but I would like to stay healthy as I age and also not got broke! Take care of your self!
