random smoothie 1/2 cup frozen strawberries 1/3 cup frozen pineapple 1/3 cup orange juice 1/4 cup vanilla almond milk 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder pinch of ground chia seeds (optional) this makes 1 serving usually I don't measure it out and just go by what I see.

You probably are losing inches. Maybe try increasing your weights? Also diet is everything. I've been doing 30DS for almost a week now + strength training and I've lost 1 pound. I've heard you build muscle first then start to lose the fat. Not sure if it's true.

I'm under my calorie goal, most days, WITH exercise. I'm not purposely trying to be under it. And I'm definitely not worrying about the number on the scale, just wondering if I'm consuming too many carbs is all :]

I do eat a lot of whole wheat pasta with ground turkey and spinach...but it's for lunch at work because it's so filling and easy. But still..hmm.. also my carbs are set at 191

Yeah, I have absolutely no support either. That's why I like this website. Unlike the "hardcore" people out there, I am not at that point yet where I can simply just say no and not give it another thought. I need some form of support and encouragement from somewhere. And I am not ashamed of it either.

i put a scoop into my pancake mix and there are a bunch of healthy dessert recipes that call for protein powder. it wouldn't give you your daily target but it could help.. i can not stand the way it taste either when its just the powder/water or even powder/milk
