I installed the Pacer app and it told me. I set my MFP at Sedentary; if I'm not, the Pacer app automatically adjusts the calories on MFP for me. So some days I'm pretty sedentary, some days I'm 'highly active' (disbelief)

Oh, not to say they are...! I just know myself, and if I see lots of posts about people doing amazing things with their fitness which I can't do with my dodgy knees, I'll just get pissed off and lose motivation. Like-minded friends are more likely to work . There are some really scary ( well to me anyway!) people on here…

Also stick with the milk if you like. I'm with you. We eat a tonne of yogurt and no-one would ever stop me doing that. Oatmeal is a good way of using milk - we make ours half milk, half water - since I often find my kids leave milk behind in their empty bowls of cereals, which is just waste.

I'm 5'3"; 147 at present. Will I do? Be warned though, I am the world's worst at motivation. I cannot do 'LET'S DO THIS!' kind of shouts. I can do sarcasm, and moaning, and occasional miserable walks. I will post no pictures of women running on beaches.
