  • Yeah this doesnt bother me at all. I have a 'dont give a ****' attitude at the gym. I'm there to work my *kitten* off and sweat, end of story! So long as you're not standing in my way I dont care where you want to excersize! ;)
  • DONT give up!!! Get an assessment done at your gym with a body fat % test, aim to reduce that instead of looking so much at the scales, they lie and we should beat the crap out of them ;) I turned 40 and decided to be 'fat no more', it took a while for my body to respond to what I was doing. Persistence is everything! :)…
  • I have noticed that my legs and bum are firming up. Although I usually only do a 30 minute warm up on it before spin class.
  • My advise is dont tell people your goals! They are your goals and no one elses!
  • Well done you!! You look amazing and are obviously working hard!! I heard a quote the other day and I love using it.... 'People often give up because of how far they still have to go, instead of forging forward and looking at how far they've actually come'!! Good on you!! I'm the same, it was so hard at the start and its…
  • I had a weigh in at the gym and lost 3lbs in 3 weeks and was super disappointed. To me it didnt quite equal the work that I put in and my clean eating!! I think as we get closer to our goal we want more and more.... Dont worry it will come! :) I have now challenged myself not to weigh myself again until May. You should do…
  • I dont think you should go by those weight/height charts! We are all so different and our shapes differ. I am 5 1" and I am aiming for around 135lbs. However I will know by the mirror what I look best at and I'm sure my goals will keep changing as I keep losing more and more weight! :)
  • I used to walk and it didnt do a thing for me! However I slowly got faster and started running. You have to start somewhere! I think it actually depends on how big you are and what kind of lifestyle you lead. If your big and dont do much and then start to walk, I'm sure you see results! I'm of the opnion that if it doesnt…
  • Lily 41 lbs Another 40 lbs Its 70% food and 30% excersize. Its mostly about what you put in your mouth. Watch your portions, cut out the crap, be treat wize, drink 2-3 litres of water a day, mind your carbs, slow release carbs are way better for you than heavy, stodgy carbs! 'It's not a sprint, its a marathon'!!
  • I've lost over 40 lbs so far and I've another 40 to go! I eat clean 6 days a week and have a 'free' day on Saturdays. However thats not a free pass to eat badly all day on Saturday. I have one free meal and one treat and its always on a Saturday, I'm regemented and I wont we swayed. I have a goal and constant treats is…
  • I'm in the gym 6 days a week and have really transformed my body. I am hitting that cardio hard. I want to introduce weights again, but I'm still quite heavy. I wanted to hit the 60's before I hit the weights again. I'm 78 at the min (started at 96), hoping to be in the 60's by May and then the real work begins. I love…
  • AMAZING physique! I used to be very into weight training back home in Australia. I cant wait to get back into it, I want Yo's body! I just want to get the body fat down a bit first and then I'll be on fire. A lot of women are scared of weights, I love em!! I always admire the hard work and dedication that goes into turning…
  • Thats fantastic! What a difference!
  • Very good!! and so so true! We are only human and will slip from time to time, write it down and move on! We are not striving to be perfect, just to be the best version of ourselves :)
  • Yeah I know what you mean and that's exactly what I say 'I've still got a long way to go' or 'I'm halfway there'! Your message has inspired me to just start saying 'thank you, I've worked dam hard'! Congrats on the weight loss thats amazing and you should be very proud of yourself!
