I usually did the Power Walk DVD before I did the 30 Day Shred :) And I didn't use the medicine ball, I have 3 and 5lb weights, so I just used one 5lb weight :) Worked fab! They also tell you, that you can use a basketball, soccer ball, soda bottle filled w/ sand, whatever you've got :)

I love, LOVE the Power Walk DVD. I mixed it with the 30 Day Shred and depending on what level(s) you do and what weights you use, you'll definitely be dripping sweat by the time you're done. :)

I've learned today, that I'm so not a runner. Running is barely in my vocabulary. But I went and did it anyway! 1 1/4 miles in 19 minutes for a girl who hasn't run in years, sounds pretty good to me! :)

Going to try this thing out later today when it stops raining and the sun comes out! :) My friend told me last night about a 5k she wants to attempt the first week of May. I may push myself to make this work and see if I can knock out a 5k in 6 weeks! :)

I usually have my skinny bagel and peanut butter and a bottle of water before I exercise. Gives me the energy to get through it I think. I tried it once without eating first..bad idea. I was SO light-headed.
