I have googled them and have had no luck with anything good. What are your favorite song/songs to workout/run to? I need to update my Ipod and seem to be in a bit of a pickle. Any help would be greatly appreciated :).

  • i like to listen to linkin park because they have a lot of fast paced songs and it makes me feel like the workout goes by faster. :)
  • I love listening to the Linkin Park/Jay-Z "Collision Course" mash-up CD they did :)

I'm a bit more old school and lately I've been running to the William Tell Overature by Rossini, and also to some awesome operatic rock by the TransSiberian Orchestra. But you can never go wrong with some AC/DC.

I listen a mixture of post hardcore and pop punky stuff. Pop punk just keeps it fast paced and post hardcore kinda motivates me alot more. I love starting off a workout to A day to remembers - sticks and bricks just the opening line gets me going "I am fueled by all forms of failure, I paid the price, So, I'll take what's mine!" Most of my music that pumps me up has screams and shouts lol i guess it must correlate to how a drill sergeant will shout at you while you exercise :P

    General workout bands for me:-
Pop/punk :- Fireworks, All Time Low, New Found Glory, Hit the Lights.
Post-hardcoreish :- A day to remember, A Skylit Drive, Abandon All Ships Etc.

Not sure what your workouts consist of but you can try to download podcasts as opposed to single songs. Here are some suggestions: http://www.djsteveboy.com/podrunner.html and http://motiontraxx.com/.

If you prefer to manage your music, song by song,, then I would suggest going to http://www.workoutmusic.com or http://www.multitrax.com. HUGE selections and reasonably priced music.

You can always make your own mixes in iTunes and load them on your ipod (if you have not done this already).

I LOVE Jorge Quinteo;s 300 violin orchastra!!!! As well as many songs by BOND which is a female strings group thats... not at all "Normal"... Imy favorites are "victory" "shine" "explosive" and "fuego" for starters lol It's a good thing to have in the mix to change it up a bit... It's completely unexpected! :)
