Feel free to friend me...I can get out of bed, I can sit for about an hour at a time, I can stand about 45 minutes at a time, on a good day I can sit in the shower or walk a few blocks. I have maybe 3 total hours of vertical time a day. I am still losing the last few pieces of a life I worked hard for. I am 33. I have…

IMO smaller beats lighter all day every day. I'd VERY gladly stay at 155 pounds if I could be my old size 6/8 again :)

Well holy heck I had I think the best week in many many many months (go figure)! SW (DEC): 192 pounds Week 1(challenge start): 156.9 Week 2: 154.4 LOST 2.5 pounds! So happy about the warm weather...keeps my coffee/cream down as I love iced tea with lemon! I can thank grandma for that :) Between that and the salads it is…

You could do what I do....and go out to the ice cream shop and get a cone! It is a bit more expensive but I don't eat ice cream all that often and I tend to have poor portion control when I have a carton in my freezer. Plus, there is almost always someone (friends or family) that are happy to go out for a cone! Just a…

My weight watchers scale of many years (digital and glass) will no longer give me a low battery warning, but the weights get all over the board when the battery starts to go. Just a thought that you may just be needing a new battery :)

Hi ALL! I forgot the introduction! I'm Kelly, 33 years old. Currently undergoing medical disability for the past tooo many months (16 I think). Was a normal active person, and then bam...woke up at 1030 one morning dizzy and couldn't see right. Now with some hearing issues, balance problems, neuropathy, and the the ever…

HI GUYS! Take a peek at my profile pic! BECAUSE....today........THOSE are my OLD jeans. My regular jeans. My precious lucky brand jeans that I dumped in the closet a year ago because I couldn't bear the sight of them when I gained all the weight. The same pants I still couldn't zip up or button 2 weeks ago. The same jeans…

YAY everyone! I am barely doing any activity, but yesterday got in a slow walk and the park, and today walked a friend's dog around the neighborhood a bit. I keep reminding myself something is better than nothing :)

I needed b12 for awhile because I was deficient. They aren't sure if it was autoimmune or the neuro issues or what. Either way, I did the shots weekly for a month and then they switched me to nasal spray! The brand is nascobal (generic cyanocobalamin) 500 mcg spray nasally q week. They were a little pricey (I think $40 for…

You can TOTALLY do this! I am happy to see you are motivated to be as healthy as possible and change what you can (some of us just have the faulty genetics). Good luck to you :)

Thank you! :)

It took me until 165 pounds from 192 to see a difference and my clothes to fit differently. At 160 pounds others commented. At 156 pounds I see a difference in the mirror! Keep it up you are doing great!!!

Hmm I can't seem to enter my start weight (156.9 pounds). It says the cell is protected. Can someone add it for me or give me permission to add it? Thanks!

I LOVE this! I used to have a vision board when I was in school and then again when I went back to school and then again for a career goal. It never occurred to me to do a weight loss vision board. Something tangible I can look at every day and remind myself of why and where I want to go. GREAT IDEA and thanks for sharing!…

YAY! I am so happy another round is going. Still working on my own to lose the weight, still going slow/strong! Drs say I am doing really well with the calorie minding and no exercise. Fingers crossed this time I can finish the challenge and hit my target.....I know I keep losing bit by bit, but darn it one day I want to…

I like cottage cheese with applesauce, weird perhaps but tasty :p I also mix it with salsa for a creamy dip or salad dressing. I have put it on top of a baked potato with veggies or a bit of chili, of course I have put it on toast with some tomato slices basil and fresh pepper, and sometimes use it instead of oil in cake…

I have a few thoughts: 1. Slice of whole grain bread toasted topped with peanut butter, banana, and honey. SO tasty. Works on a bagel or english muffin too. Go easy on the honey if you take it to go as it can get drippy. 2. Overnight oats are quick and easy if you remember to prepare the night before. Take 1/2 cup oats,…

I like the activity ideas and finding stuff you can do. BUT....have you taken time to really think about why you are overdoing it? WHY you push when you reached an inch and want the mile? WHY you go to the point of pain and injury and need to take 3 weeks off? WHY you aren't happy with your modified squats? WHY you are…

Stop doing what doesn't work. Seriously. It sounds like you have some idea of what didn't work. WONDERFUL. That means this time you can try something that can work. Without knowing anything at all about you, what didn't work, and trap breaking, I'll take a teensy stab at it. Counting calories and eating at a deficit WILL…

I don't see a double chin or the face fat you seem to see. I also think it is wonderful that you do not need surgery for the "gyno"..how great to not have to have a surgery! You are also well within a healthy weight for your body. Congrats! I tend to agree the problem is not the physical stuff but the way you see…

My advice? DON'T DO IT. AT ALL. No junk food for depression. My experience? Chronic illness, steroids, tons of anticonvulsants and antidepressants, completely sedentary/bedrest, with depression and anxiety related to the illness and disability and eating above my bmr. I gained 60 pounds in a year. Now: How I wish I had…

Have you tried aquatic therapy? Again not having your entire history and seeing what your personal issues are (like specific motion restrictions or what the soft tissue issues are), it is just a well intended thought. I do not mean swimming since you state you can't with the shoulder stuff you have going on. I mean pool…

Well... I knew I was losing weight the morning in the shower when I couldn't figure out what was on the floor of the tub. It was MY TOES  Now I just keep them happy with bright pedicures (coral, hot pink, aqua, lilac, whatever strikes my fancy) every two weeks. Because while the weight keeps going down and the…

You CAN actually lose weight without any activity whatsoever. I know this as I have chronic illness and am losing weight with calories alone. I stand at times, walk to the toilet, sit up a teensy bit, but most of the time I lay flat. I am a lovely mix of joint pain undifferentiated connective tissue disease and vestibular…

Well... I am proud of the success of my nearest and dearest and like to share!!!! No jealous just 100% happy and want the world to know! If they don't want it spoken about, I don't speak of it. Drunk, or not. But I am sure I'd get a swift elbow or kick if I did and that would stop me in a jiffy. Sometimes drunk people…

I'm all for your success PROMISE! Just wanted to make sure you were being safe about! It shouldn't be too hard to stick to...most of the people say they stop being hungry and that after the first 4 days or so it is easy. I'm not sure, but they say it! They definitely are effective and I have seen more people swear by that…
