I like these mantra's. I have a lot of different things I tell myself but I have to give Yoda credit for these wise words "Do or Do Not There Is No Try." =) I have it engraved on the back of my iPod and like to look at it when I want to stop running and whatever exercise Im doing.

Nice job ladies! Im not 5'4 but Im 5'3 so this is defiintely inspirational for me. My goal is 140 and the lowest I've made it down was 167.2 then I shot back up to 242.2 (pushing 250 some days). Im about ___ that close to being under 200 again and I can't wait!

I like both but I prefer Wendy's salad. I usually get the Apple Pecan Salad and I only use one packet of salad dressing instead of two. If I order a McDonald's salad I get my chicken grilled to cut down on cals and grease. I like the BLT from McDonalds and Wendys.

Are you doing any type of strength training or just cardio? Personally I'd rather lose inches over pounds because one of the main reasons Im losing weight is to fit back into old clothes LOL (along with getting my health better) but its a lot of vanity reasons lol.

Yes. Eat what you can. Don't eat because the calorie counter tells you to eat. If it says 1500 you can plan that way but if you exercise youre going to most always be in the negative as far as calories left. The last time I lost weight I didnt feel it until I was 50 lbs down. Im down 23 pounds so far and I dont feel it at all. My pants are fitting much better though. Thats how I can tell Im losing weight by the way my pants are fitting, which is more important than the number on the scale.

If your diet is good I would suggest switching up your workout. Instead of walking 3 miles, try to run or job 3 miles (if possible). Your burn more calories and save time when working out. Yeah, I use my HRM. I have one from Timex that was fairly inexpensive. It also helps me from going over my MAX HR and overextending myself so I won't have to quit my workout.

If you have internet please go to www.exercisetv.tv! Free workouts everyday and they add new ones monthly. That website makes it inexcusable to EVER miss a workout. I really like Kendell Hogan too. He will whip you into shape and the Sardone walk away the pound vids is easy cardio. Good luck!

Im still looking for the right scale but I've been eyeballing stuff and I measure my liquids/powders with my measuring cups. I think I overestimate everything else and as long as I have half of my plate with green stuff Im good.

I think sodium is the reason my weight flunctuates so much from day to day. I went overboard Tuesday and woke up Weds feeling very heavy. I just ate my last frozen meal for the week so this is perfect timing! Thx for sharing!
