I have done Body Revolution and just finished the first two weeks of Body Shred. The first two weeks of Body Shred were a lot harder than the first two weeks of Body Revolution, for me anyway. I'm excited to start week 3 on Monday!

I had a food allergy test done and eliminated everything on my list for 3 weeks. Didn't help. The best relief for my migraines has been taking Magnesium every day. I've gone from 2-3 per week to 2-3 every couple of months. Good luck!

Yes, they definitely get harder.

I love my Vitamix! I use it for smoothies, sauces, nut butters, etc. Look into a refurbished unit. We bought one at a home show about 10 years ago and have never had an issue with it.

I use mine mostly for smoothies but lately have been using it for "cream" sauces. It's amazing what kind of sauces you can make with raw cashews!
-
Congrats! That is a great accomplishment!

I love running in skirts strictly for the extra pockets. I don't like wearing anything around my waist so on long runs, I can put my ipod, sport beans, etc in the skirt pockets.

Vitamix. We bought a refurbished model about 10 years ago, use it every day and have never had a problem. Worth the investment!

Chips. BBQ, Salt & Vinegar, Jalapeno, pretty much any kind.

Glad to know I'm no the only one! Both of my second toes are purple/black after my marathon a few weeks ago. Seems to only happen above half marathon distance and at this point, I've just accepted it. I even went up another half size in my running shoes specifically for longer distances and still get messed up toenails.

I eat a plant based diet and vegweb.com is wonderful for vegan recipes! I would say about 99% receive hubby's stamp of approval.

A lot depends on your body type. I've always had large calf muscles ( a gift from my father  ) and have trouble fitting regular boots.

Congrats on running your first half! Best advice, don't try anything new on race day. Make sure everything is well tested prior to your race. That includes shoes, socks, running shorts/tights, sports bra, shirt, hydration, nutrition, etc.

I've done several full and half marathons. I eat pasta or pizza the night before a long run because I have found that to work best for my stomach. I don't eat huge amounts though, just a normal size portion or slightly larger. When you find what works best for you, stick to it. You'll want a tried and true plan for your…

Try vegweb.com. It's a vegan recipe site and they have a category for Slow Cooker recipes.

Wineglass marathon in October. It will be my 10th marathon but I am really focused on training for this one because I want to hit 4:45.

I run too but can lose motivation quickly. Have you thought about signing up for a 5k or some other race? That's what keeps me motivated. No slacking off with a race on the agenda!

Pre-run happy hour! I should try that!

Yep, happens to me all the time. I remember running the Marine Corps Marathon in 2012 and was absolutely miserable, legs felt like lead, couldn't breathe, etc. The following week, I ran the Savannah Marathon and felt fantastic.

I'm just finishing week three of T25 and also distance running (not training for a 50 miler, but I have two marathons this spring). Usually early in the week I have no problem doing T25 and then running. By Thursday though, my legs are pretty tired. I've made the choice to prioritize running over T25 if I need to pick one…

I was diagnosed with Runner's knee years ago, then another Dr. diagnosed it as IT band syndrome. Two rounds of different PT and still wasn't better so I tried acupuncture. It was better in 6 treatments and I've not had a problem since!

I love their crunchy, salted Peanut Butter, I won't buy any other kind! I also like their flourless sprouted wheat bread, Almond Milk, and their Arrabiata sauce. I do most of my shopping there.

Tim's Cascade Potato Chips, they are the best. I live in VA now and have to have them shipped from Seattle. :) Also Ben and Jerry's.

Depends on the race. A Disney race, yes, we stop and take a lot of pics with the characters. Other races, it just depends on what we see but usually maybe only one or two pics while running. I never stop to pose for race photographers. Maybe I should because my race pics are always awful! :) Best sign I saw was last year…

Agree with this. I started training for half marathons a few years ago and marathons about 18 months ago and it's amazing how much faster you get at the shorter distances just from adding mileage. I went from a 32-33 min 5k average to 29 minutes with more mileage and no speedwork.

I just started Week 9, it's a great program so far. I need to take my measurements to see how many inches I've lost. I don't do the cardio, I'm a runner so use that as my cardio.

Agree, a lot of it is genetics. I've always had big, muscular calves and probably always will. Since I started running, my legs are much more defined and lean, but I still need the wide-calf boots if I'm getting the knee high style. I've learned to appreciate the fact that I do have strong, lean legs and don't worry about…

Running. I've dropped a pant size since I've been running consistently.

I also eat mostly vegetarian. Check out vegweb.com, they have fantastic recipes!
