I set mine on 2#'s to start off with and for the past month have ate at a 750-1100 calories deficit and I've lost a few inches but no pounds. I am changing and going to start eating more. I think we all want fast results but I feel like if I had started off a month ago with a lesser deficit I would be further ahead than I…

I started 25 days ago. I set my MFP and Fitbit for 750 calorie deficit. I lost 1# the first week but quickly put right back on plus some. I have lost some inches BUT today (after being a little frustrated) I put down on a spreadsheet my Daily Cal Burned, Calories Eaten, and Net Calories for each of the last 25 days then…

Did you figure anything out? I am in the same situation and my TDEE and BMR are about the same as yours. I've been averaging 750-900 under what I actually burn for the day (according to my Fitbit) but when I run the numbers I'm at 45-47% below TDEE! I've been at this for 25 days and actually gained. Scared to eat more and…

I've had a Fitbit One for over a year and wear it daily. I like being able to look at where I am for the day. Motivational! And it works great with MFP. I have both apps on my phone and they are great! I also have a HRM that I use when I exercise but I'm not sure about it. Today I did 11 miles in 33 min /avg speed 24 mph…

This is well worth the read..... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1017045-a-very-interesting-and-informational-read-on-deficits

WOW! Amazing! You look fabulous and so healthy! :) I see a lot of people on here that have lost a lot of weight but they don't really say if it was all due to MFP. By you saying that you have logged for 3 years I believe that is what has helped you achieve your goals. I just started back up and have logged for almost 3…

I eat lots of broccoli! Low in calories and filling. Add a little low sodium soy sauce and it's delicious. Also, I purchased some "Nips" caramel hard candies that are 30 calories each and that will get me over my sugar cravings. Sweets are my weakness. I could eat a whole big bag of M&M's and love Milk Duds. One theater…

"If you bite it, you write it" Keep track of EVERYTHING! Some say well I just ate a few nuts but they don't realize how high calories the nuts are. Read this http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1017045-a-very-interesting-and-informational-read-on-deficits maybe it will help. What kind of phone do you have? Any…

The scales is not an accurate measure of weight loss in the beginning. Did you measure? Measure under your breasts, at the smallest part of your waist, just below your belly button and your hips and thighs. I think you'll be pleased in a week if you keep it up and remeasure. I have a "Note Keeping" app on my phone and I…

^^ If I only logged what I ate while sitting at the table, it would be about 4 meals a week. I am on the go from the time I get up until midnight. I eat on the run and standing up but I log everything. I weigh it out, bag it up, and eat as I go.
-
^^^^^ I read this saying my first week and it DOES make a difference! "Just a few nuts" can be 190 calories! It all adds up!

Are you logging your food AND logging every single bite that goes in your mouth? Are you using a food scale? It's surprising how a little "nibble" here and there will add up. Open your diary and let your friends on here help. I tried this plan last year starting in March and it was July before I finally started losing…

This is good to hear because the first time I did this plan, I was so scared of going into "starvation mode", I think I was actually over eating for the amount of body fat I have to lose. I weigh 192 and I don't look huge but from not eating right over the years and stress and my age I have built up a LOT of body fat. 31%!…

I have read and re read. Each time I get a little bit more out of it. Last time I did this I worried so much about the deficit and being in the zone to the point I was even keeping a spreadsheet but I don't think it has to be that complicated. It gets very confusing.

This is long but I found it worth the read. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1017045-a-very-interesting-and-informational-read-on-deficits

Very proud of the steps you are making to turn your life around! It's not easy but one day at a time and you can do it. You are young and have a whole life ahead of you and so much to look forward to! Congrats!

Bump! Sounds good!

When I walked in my warm home after being out in the bitter cold wind all day I thanked the Lord for providing me with a warm home to come home to.

Bump. Worth the read again.

I tried this plan last year and had the same issues. FOUR MONTHS with no weight loss then BOOM the scales started moving. (But then like a fool I quit). I just started again 10 days ago, I have had a deficit of 8462 calories tracking with both MFP and Fitbit, logging every little bite of anything I put in my mouth and this…

I have been buying the Chocolate Muscletech "100% Ultra Pure Whey Isolate Plus" at Sam's. 1 scoop has 1 g of Fat and 1 g Sugar and is only 160 Calories for 30 g of Protein. I mix with 1/2 c of Skim milk, 1/2 c of water and ice cubes. Put in the blender and it tastes like a chocolate shake! Sometimes I add a banana. So many…

I usually log activities on the Fitbit site and let it sync to MFP. It seems to be more accurate that way.
