Check out this free website: http://www.selfworkoutfinder.com/ They have LOTS of different exercises for women for home or in the gym, equipment or no equipment. They show videos of how to do, have pictures to refer to, and you can print them off. I have a binder that I print them off and put in sections so I have a game…

I've been going back and reading these posts to try to stay encouraged! In the last 60 days, I started at 193, went down to 189 back to 192 and now at 191 BUT I've lost 17 1/2 inches, 5 of which was around my waist and 3 around my stomach! I have a doctor appointment in June, 60 days from now, and I really want the scale…

First thing you need to do with a new Fitbit is to go to your settings and make sure you have your step length set correctly. I enter my food on the MFP site and my exercise on the Fitbit sight and feel it is more accurate that way. I used to put exercise on the MFP site and it synced to MFP but I feel it's more accurate…

I've been at this for almost 2 months and keep losing and gaining the same 3 pounds BUT I've lost 5 inches around my waist and 4 1/2 off my hips so if you have body fat to burn, that may be the first to come off. I'm not losing pounds as fast as I want but I figure if it comes off slow this time maybe it will stay off.…

Beautiful! Great Job! Congratulations!

I'm with you. I keep losing and gaining the same 4 pounds. I'm not going to get frustrated though because I am losing some inches. I know I have a lot of body fat to lose from all my years of unhealthy eating and starving my body.

I enter my food on the MFP site but I enter my exercise on the Fitbit site. I feel like the Fitbit site tracks more accurate on calories burned. Put in the time you worked out and it will figure at what level you were active (fairly, lightly, or very). I wear my Fitbit during my workout. The Fitbit adjustment is then…

Go to the Livestrong Woman Youtube site for videos. Also, it's amazing the amount of resistance and stretch you can get using a Pilates video with Stretch Band! My muscles are more sore the next day after that workout than with weights. It really stretches you!

Love my Galaxy S3! My sons both have Iphones but my screen is so much larger and nicer to view. I feel like I have a great selection of apps for Android. I love how it syncs with my Fitbit (one of the few phones that do) and with MFP. You definitely won't regret getting one!

Bump for reference later. Thanks!

GREAT JOB! Will you share what has worked best for you over the past weeks to reduce that body fat? This is what I'm struggling with. I do cardio but I read I need to do more weights. Which worked for you (or a mixture of both and how much?)

Great job! Can you share how often you work out, what you do, and what % below your TDEE on calories do you shoot for a day? I'm a month into this and still trying to figure everything out.

Mine syncs in a few seconds! Also, if you have a smart phone, certain ones will sync through bluetooth. I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 and it syncs which is nice if you're not home or around an internet connection. Once it syncs, the information automatically uploads to MFP. When you log your food, log into MFP only, not on the…

You can do it! You did it before and you know the plan so all you have to do is work it. I'm just starting but reading through posts of people like you that have lost 20, 30, 40, or more pounds is a big inspiration to me. It was okay to take off a little time and to help you realize you need to keep it up. Your husband is…

Drink lots of water beforehand and dip up small portions, eat slow. That's my plan. :)

Congrats! I really like to hear this because we are programmed to think we have to eat less to lose. Fact is we have to eat more but of the right things in the right % and that means just following the plan.
-
You HAVE to eat more. I started this and for 6 weeks I made sure I ate my 1200...Nothing. I raised to 1650 which is 20% of my TDEE and I've finally started losing. If you figure your BMR, you'll probably find it to be in the 1500's. That is what your body needs resting not doing anything! You need to eat at least over that…

Way to GO! That's what I like about what I've learned so far on MFP, you can eat a cheeseburger, then just adjust the rest of your daily eating so it all fits in. So much better than living on a "Shake" diet or some of those other plans where you can't eat real food. You met your craving and you still have the ball rolling…

It's really big around our area and EVERYONE is on it but very few have success or stick with it because you crave eating REAL food. There is one couple that sort of started it in this town and they won themselves a BMW BUT they drive around in it and try to get people to have meetings and sign up and buy product and they…

Add me! I'm 55 and just seriously started here on March 6 and learning the ropes of healthy eating after years of horrible eating habits (not eating enough or drinking enough water). Always have had time to take care of everyone else but have never taken time for me. NOW IS THE TIME! Is the group set up and how do we join…

The VI shakes are low in sugar if you have 2 a day, that's only 2 grams. What are you mixing in them? What are you eating for your other meal?

Look at your Net Calories after exercise. You need to eat at least up to your BMI or a little over. You may lose by not doing this but then you'll start gaining because your body won't be getting enough nutrients. Read through the Roadmap here. Read and study it! It will help you.…

This same thing happened to me! I lost 25# about 4 years ago and felt so good and my husband lost 30# and everyone would say to him WOW, You've really lost weight! He was proud of me and would say to them "My wife lost 25!" and I felt like they would look at me and think "Really??". I felt so self conscious I quit trying…

I was just telling them at work last night the one thing I was craving was pancakes! Thank you!

I love beets and usually eat them on my salad then one day I thought, why not use the juice as my dressing? I put 2 or 3 tablespoons over my salad and it's great! A lot lower in cals than dressing and just as tasty. :)
