  • Hi there! I'm currently finishing up CIZE and then was thinking about doing TurboFire! I'd be happy to do it with you! I've sent you a friend request. Feel free to shoot me a message!
  • Feel free to add me too! Always love getting and providing support! Definitely does make this journey a little easier.
  • It may sound Kooky, but honestly I try to just close my eyes and breathe for a few minutes. I don't consider it really "meditation" but more just calming down. And I agree - exercise is a great stress reliever! Most importantly, though, don't get down on yourself. That's only going to stress you out even more.
  • Agree! Sent you a friend request.
  • I'm so sorry you're going through this. Grief can definitely do a number on you. Think about what your dad would have wanted - he would have wanted you to have good health, be active, enjoy life. He wouldn't want you to sabotage yourself. Maybe try something small....a very small change. Maybe taking a 10 minute walk twice…
  • Yes, just focus on really honing in on the diet. The exercise will help with inches lost. What are you doing for exercises? Send me a friend request.
  • That can happen, as frustrating as it is! The closer you get, the harder it can be. Make sure you're eating enough calories for your weight and activity level! Sometimes eating too few calories will stall your body. Especially if you are really active. Maybe a change in exercise routine? Mix things up a bit. I hope…
  • Amazing! You look great! Awesome job for sticking it out - it's not easy but definitely worth it!
  • I've fallen and started over again so many times - you'd think I'd learn my lesson by now. ;) But I'm back too! Add me if you'd like! Happy to help support and motivate you!
  • Just sent you a friend request - would love to help support you!
  • I used to be in an office like that - goodies all the time. Now I work from home so that definitely helps! LOL But I run into the same type of thing when we travel, which is often. I bring my Shakeology, though, and that helps. I do allow myself treats on special occasions but small amounts, and I try to limit. Like if we…
  • Hi there! Just sent you a friend request. It can be so hard! I started out with 118 pounds to lose. I lost 48, then fell off the wagon and gained back 20. I'm back down 15 of that, so 43 lost net. Still 75 to go, but taking it 10 pounds at a time so I don't get discouraged.
  • Great job signing up for a 5K! Are you doing Couch to 5k?
  • Welcome back! I'm happy to help motivate you! Feel free to friend me! I'm a mom of 2 as well.
  • My mom has spinal stenosis. She got a couple yoga and core workouts that can be done seated or standing. She does as much as she can standing, and then sits for what she needs to. You could look up something like that on Amazon. Or maybe a program like Tai Cheng?
  • Welcome! Feel free to friend me - always looking for new friends for support and encouragement!
  • Add me! You're welcome to follow my journey! :)
  • My youngest is 7 months old now. I was fortunate enough to lose the baby weight pretty quickly, but I was overweight to begin with so started working on that. I think the biggest thing is getting yourself motivated and ready. I don't know what it was this time around but something just clicked and i stuck to it for 6…
  • Things that have helped me get back on track: 1. Writing down my motivations when i start, and then looking at those when I feel like giving up. 2. Putting myself in a position where I am a leader for others, so I'd best be doing what I'm preaching! It's hard to find that mojo again, but I usually find that after the first…
  • I'm running a Facebook challenge if you're interested in joining that. If so, message me and I can provide more details.
  • Amen, sister! LOL I have a 7 month old daugher, and a 3 year old son. I have 65-70 pounds left to go, but have managed to lose 42 so far! Support and accountability is KEY!! Feel free to add me!
  • It can be tough to keep going. One thing I've noticed is that I need variety to keep me interested in exercise. If I do the same things over and over again, I get bored and I am more apt to skip a day. Then if I skip a day, it becomes easier to skip the next day, and so on and so on until I'm not exercising anymore.…
  • Are you looking for weightlifting routines, or more general strength training (planks, squats, etc)?
  • Welcome and good luck! I'm happy to be a support and motivator for you! Feel free to add me! I'll private message you as well.
  • PiYo is low impact but still gives a great workout. There is no jumping involved, so might be easier on your back. T25 is a pretty intense workout. I'd say it depends on what you're used to doing, whether or not I'd recommend one over the other.
  • T25 is definitely an intense workout, but the good thing is, it's only 25 minutes, and I know some people who have seen terrific results from it! My sister-in-law is doing a challenge group for T25 right now, and she said she likes it even more than P90X. Not sure if you're familiar with that one at all for comparison.
  • I find that I lose weight better when I eat back *Some* of the calories I've burned but not all - maybe half or slightly less. It's going to take some trial and error to figure out what works best for you, but yes, you do need to keep your calorie intake up a bit to avoid any affect on your milk supply. I would start with…
  • PiYo is a combination of Pilates and Yoga, but at a faster speed so as to get in cardio too. It's a great workout! Chalene Johnson is a fantastic instructor!
  • I'm happy to be a support person for you! I have about 65 more pounds to lose! I'll be 32 at the end of this month. Add me as a buddy!
  • You could say I'm a bit calorie obsessed too....if we go out to eat, I feel like I have to go to th same restaurants where I already know the calories for meals - if we go somewhere else, I get panicky!! Logging is very important, though, but it's hard to find that balance of logging and trying not to get completely…
