Call for Inspiration!

I made a goal to lose 70 lbs by the end of the year in January and began using MFP in February. I was a total rock star in the beginning! I biked 1+ hours a day, ran every other day and even did strength training (though I still hate it with all my being!)

Then June and July happened. I worked a lot of overtime to prepare for my vacation, I went out of town for two weeks, and was sick for a week when I got back. When my life started to look normal again, my Grandmother's health took a turn for the worse so I left again to help my family with her care and prepare the family farm for sale. As you can imagine, it was an emotional rollercoaster but also a dietary and exercise roller coaster as well!

I'm having a lot of trouble getting back into the swing of things.I feel like I've tried positive and negative motivation, old ways and new and it's just not sticking the way it did in the past.

So I'm looking to brainstorm - when you faltered, what helped you get back on track?

Things that have helped me get back on track:

    1. Writing down my motivations when i start, and then looking at those when I feel like giving up.
    2. Putting myself in a position where I am a leader for others, so I'd best be doing what I'm preaching!

It's hard to find that mojo again, but I usually find that after the first 3 days of forcing myself to do it no matter what, then I have it back!
