Peanut Butter... I agree with you, I totally do. It CAN be a part of a healthy diet. But I find that PB is one of those things where the serving size just feels too small to me to make it worth it. I can eat a tablespoon of PB and it's healthy... but I never want to eat only a tablespoon. I grew up with PB& banana…

How many? ;)

Wow, that's a gorgeous picture. You're lucky!

Jew-ish girl in for the Lenten Scale Diet! Love it! Come Passover, I will be stoked.

Okay, STAFF MEETING CONFESSIONAL is now in session. Me-- 9 Oreos and a Newman-O at one meeting after missing lunch to work with kids.
-
That is a great list of rewards!

Love IS blind. Or rather, people you love are beautiful because you love them.
-
Dude, I'd add ya a second time if I could! Hang in there friend!
-
@katapple-- that sounds like where i'm at too! i belong to a gym and i love it and don't want to give it up! But I figure I can watch ol' Tony a few times and then do his suggestions in the gym!

Oh, and P.S. The whole "calories are calories" argument? Calories ARE calories when weight loss is the only goal. The Twinkie guy proved that-- you can eat 1200 cals of M&Ms or 1200 cals of chicken breast and brown rice and you will lose weight. The problem with that is that 1200 cals of M&Ms simply aren't very big…
-
Oh, understood. That makes perfect sense. I guess I didn't think about how I phrased it. I'm not stuck on 1200 calories unless it makes sense for my body.

I haven't read the rest of the replies, but it seems like the problem is the wording. "Clean"eating doesn't necessarily lead to binge eating unless you dislike "boring" clean food, like the original poster. I find that clean eating helps because I get to eat plenty of yummy food that I like, like chicken breasts and brown…

What if I follow a strict MFP "diet" plan (counting calories to 1200 religiously) but i don't drink and eat their special food?
-
Oh my gosh oh my gosh. I love this website! http://www.caloriegallery.com/foods/

That is bizarre. And sad, and kind of sick. Could you just eat REEEEAAALLLLLYYYYY slowly so they can't add more?
-
Yeah, I was going to point you to this site: http://jog.fm/music?utf8=%E2%9C%93&pace=9%3A00 . It does the same thing, searches by mile time to give you a song with the right beat! It's awesome.

That's beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not in Florida, but I understand why people eat cake at and after teacher meetings! Teachers unite!
-
That's cool! It's neat to see the meal all together!

Can I resize pictures that are already on the internet?
-
Can't resist...

One more: Portion sizes then and now...

I LOVE this website: http://www.wisegeek.com/what-does-200-calories-look-like.htm

ooh, my bad. i didn't read your original post carefully. what to do OTHER than exercise? in that case, i read in the bathtub. it's far away from the fridge. or i create something-- do art, write a letter. it's absorbing and fulfilling.

work out! it changes my weight loss from passive/negative (sitting around trying not to eat) to active! then I can come home and have chocolate milk or whatever i was craving before 'cause i worked off some calories and did right by myself.

hell yes. backcountry telemarking and skate skiing. free your heels, free your mind!
-
Oh my goodness. I had cracked heels for 8 years until I tried "Working Hands" : http://www.okeeffescompany.com/ It's some kind of "manly" moisturizer that cured them in a few DAYS. It's awesome. I found it at Fred Meyer on the west coast, but maybe Target?

Ugh. One of those Thursdays that just drains you. I've been sick forever (I think it's related to my lifestyle changes :grumble:) and I just want to take tomorrow OFF!
