Thanks - I did read that post and it was full of good tips. Brilliant! From reading it I think I'm expecting too much too soon so will just jog along at a nice pace until I can go for longer and then start to pick things up a bit. And yep, have taken on your tip about cross country training, kenmunson333.

Thank you. I think I will let them leave me and just go it alone for now as feeling that you're holding everyone up sort of puts you off doing it again. I just liked the company! Thanks very much for you advice.

Scrambled egg on a slice of wholemeal bread...or 2 slices if it's the tiny bread. Depending on the size of the egg, it's maximum 230 calories AND it mostly keeps me full from breakfast (7.30am) until lunchtime (12.45pm).

Gosh, people are so bloody mean here! I have to admit, that was pretty funny though  OP, you can't possibly have put on 20 pounds overnight. Calm down. Hopefully by now you've gone and checked out your weight elsewhere. It's more than likely your scales. Either that or you're body is busy brewing a megapoop. But…

Ask yourself why you are on a healthy eating plan. It's so you can have the odd blow-out and deal with it in your day-to-day meal planning. Seriously, go out and have a good time. Live the old days with your old friends. Get completely sloshed. Then you can pick up tomorrow where you left off. What will you consume extra?…

Thank you. According to this, I should be eating 1,700 and that's probably right enough as I eat my exercise calories back.

To yarwell: Just height, weight and sex. My resting heart rate shows at between 70 to 75 bpm. To nelinelineli: I'm fairly new to all of this, but going by this my TDEE would be way OVER 2,000 for the day. I'm 5' 2" and 148 pounds. I'm being told now though by other members that the heart rate monitors are more designed for…

Well that's that cleared up then. WHOOPS! Thanks for that, both of you. I thought something was wrong with me there.

Well done! You look so amazing. What an inspiration. You've worked so hard, keep it up!! xx

Thank you - that was most helpful :-)

I LOVE SUBWAY TOO! I'm gutted they've stopped doing their wraps and replaced it with a flatbread thing for calorie counters. The wraps were brilliant. I've been told on here that Subway, generally speaking, is high in their salt content. Depends what you're getting obviously. My favourite was ham and turkey wrap with all…

Not a snowball's hope in hell's chance of that happening to me! I usually just drink one night of the weekend, sometimes two, and don't bother at all during the week. I exercise each night during the week and I find after that the last thing I want is an alcoholic drink! I'd say try to cut out the midweek drinking and save…

FARTING DOING A SQUAT. Yup.

Gorgeous girl, both before and after but after you look much healthier. Way to go, you! :)

If you're off the booze at the moment you could get a fresh orange juice and a sparkling mineral water and mix them together :) I normally drink rum and diet coke when I go out and I don't bother recording them as unfortunately I can never remember how many I've had!

That's not a binge! You're fine. Don't make a habit out of it and, hey, if you only do something like that every now and again where's the harm? I'd probably go out my way to indulge myself every now and again just because it's life, I want to enjoy it and not feel like I'm depriving myself of something I'm just dying to…

Hiya. I'm fairly new too and it seems to me that the site advises lots of women to eat 1200 calories a day. That's what's been recommended to me. I find it very hard to stick to that and I work out 6 days a week, partly to feel good and tone up but also to give myself more calories! I think I was nearly 300 over yesterday…

Most definitely. I'm a Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 office girl and a busy day for me means sitting at the computer all day without getting up much. A quiet day means sitting at my desk and tryng not to boredom eat! I'm trying to keep sensible things to snack on through the day in my desk like Ryvita crackers and pate or…

2 whole eggs, 1 chopped spring onion, grated cheddar cheese, 1 chopped tomato, some ham/bacon. YUM. My partner gets me to make it for him lots when he wants a snack :)

I got a 10 - happy with that!

Thanks for replying folks :) I'm getting that tomorrow again for sure. Yeah, gnalani, just easy swaps and better choices but I'll always eat a little bit of not so good stuff here and there. Like the white chocolate and strawberry muffin this afternoon. Aaargh!

Ooooft am having that! Cheers :-D I wish I didn't love food so much!

Hello there. I've recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and basically, you need to take the medication. The pills are needed to bring your thyroxine level to where it should be for your body to function properly. I've been taking the medication for a couple of months now and feel so much better. My energy levels are…

I dont know who the artist is but "Hit the Switch" on the current issue of Body Combat. It's absolutely mental.

Brilliant transformation. I hope you feel good, because you look great. Keep going.

My partner makes comments at me but I know he does like my diet and would like to eat more healthily himself. Your friends are probably just envious of your choices and your healthiness. This probably make them feel bad about themselves so it makes them feel better to poke fun at you. And thanks. You've just inspired me to…

Wow, absolutely brilliant achievement. Well done to you. Keep up the good work.
