Looking after babies is one of the toughest jobs in the world. Our daughter is 15 now, but I remember when she was a baby as if it was yesterday. If you have family and friends round about you, let them help you as much as possible and try to get some time for yourself.

Thanks so much everyone for your replies! Great ideas!

O.M.G. What a job you've done! You look gorgeous. Losing all that weight must be making such a difference in your life, healthwise and just managing everyday things. I hope your health problems have come right now.

Thank you, they sound great. I've bookmarked the page and will definitely be making some.

I love pasta! I did eat loads of it in the past though, so I make sure I weigh it carefully and don't go mad with it. It's still one of my favourite foods. mmmmmm

Walking is my favourite exercise, especially outdoors in the natural light and with the company of our pup. It's healthy and therapeutic. I love it!

Awww, thanks for your comments. :)

@ Seena511 Yeah, that tickled me too. As long as it gets rid of the wrinkles, but leaves the laughter lines alone.

Thank you everyone, for all your replies with great advice! :D

@ bcattoes Yeah, I'll have to start eating my greens! :O) @ junipearl Thanks for the list. I didn't know that about cinnamon. I already use it a little, but will use more now. :D

@ whatjesseats Thank you, that's a really good link! :D

Would it be possible to put a 'sticky' thread at the beginning with instructions on how to make the ticker? I've noticed that many are bamboozled by it and the instructions on tickerfactory aren't clear enough.

Got another mile done. :D

My total so far.

Got another 1.5 miles in before tea-time.

Lol, yeah, I know, farway. I'm not prone to those kind of comments, but I'm starting to consider my bones a bit more because 'women of a certain age' can be vulnerable to osteoporosis. I did running for a while last year, but got terrible shin splints so I stick to walking now. I like gardens too.... and saying…

lol @ Jeannie. It took me a while to figure it out too. I'm pleased with my walking progress and a bonus was that I had a 3 lb weight loss last week!

It was lovely here in the U.K. Had a lovely walk with our pup.

Thanks Urs. I'm still debating it. lol As well as getting proper advice from my doctor, I thought it would be a good way of introducing me to the gym, e.g. in a group of people with similar problems to myself. Confidence is another aspect, as I have spent so long at home now that I'm beginning to feel like a bit of a…

Didn't get as much walking done today as had a lot of paperwork to do, but still doing well. I'm happy with it.

Hi Mrs A. I don't eat meat, so I'm not really clued up on it's nutritional aspect, but 5g doesn't sound much, does it. Here's a link that might give more information: http://www.howmuchprotein.com/foods/chicken/ I hope you enjoyed the night! :)

Paige, we all get times when we feel down and then spring out of it again. I agree with what some of the others have said - get out in the fresh air and sunshine. It will help lift your spirits. You're a very pretty girl..... just focus on how lovely you'll look in your wedding dress.
-
Amazing! You're looking so well. :)
-
I'm pleased with this start to the challenge. :)

Where do you paste your PIN? lol
-
Oooops, having problems trying to update my ticker. I know my pin, but the instructions say to paste the url of your ticker into browser..... er, um.... how do I find my ticker's url. *blush*

I'm up for it! :)

Thank you for your replies everyone. I think at my age (59), it would be good for me. I get a fair bit of cardiovascular exercise through daily activities, but pilates sounds good for strengthening the bones and keeping the joints supple. Thanks. :)
